Abstract
The invention relates to the hand-held firearm and is the firearm having a shorter length compared to systems in which the magazine is located in front of the trigger guard.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to the field of firearms technology and can be used in magazine fed firearm, mainly hunting and sports.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Known firearm U.S. Pat. No. 590,271A, where the magazine is located in front of the trigger guard, which increases the length of the gun.

There are also known designs where, to reduce the length of the gun, the magazine is located above the trigger guard, for example, U.S. Pat. No. 3,509,654A, DE19538425A1, U.S. Pat. No. 7,963,062B1.

However, these systems have a complex design and do not provide convenient loading.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION

The proposed invention solves the problem of reducing the length of the firearm and ensuring the convenience of installing/changing the magazine.

To do this, the magazine is located above the trigger guard and offset in the transverse direction from the longitudinal plane, passing through the longitudinal axis of the firearms barrel in such a way as to ensure the free installation of the magazine in the firearm.

As a result, the breech end of the barrel is much closer to the trigger, the minimum distance between which must be at least 70 mm.

This restriction is necessary to ensure convenience when handling gun.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

The essence of the invention is illustrated by sketches, where:

FIG. 1—shows the appearance of the proposed firearm and the scheme for installing the magazine in the firearm;

FIG. 2—shows the appearance of the magazine, section along A-A;

FIG. 3—shows the appearance of the firearm, a section along A-A, demonstrating the position of the magazine in the firearm;

FIG. 4—shows the view of the firearm, a section along A-A, demonstrating the placement of the magazine in the cutout of the receiver;

FIG. 5—shows the appearance of the firearm, local view A, demonstrating remoteness of the breech end of the barrel from the trigger, as well as the location of the rear wall of the magazine relative to the trigger and the butt stock.

The best embodiment of the invention:

The firearm (FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3, FIG. 4) contains the barrel 1, the receiver 3 with the cutout 3.2 on the side surface 3.10, the magazine 4 with the cartridges 5, the butt stock 6.

The magazine 4 (FIG. 2) with the cartridges 5 is placed in the cutout 3.2 (FIG. 1, FIG. 3, FIG. 4) on the side surface 3.10 of the receiver 3 and is located above the trigger guard 3.1 and does not overlap it.

The magazine 4 (FIG. 3, FIG. 4) occupies the position, in which it lies outside the vertical longitudinal plane Y passing through the longitudinal axis 1.1 of the barrel 1.

The relative position of the barrel 1 and the magazine 4 (FIG. 5) allows to bring the breech end 1.2 of the barrel 1 to the trigger 3.3 at the distance L, which must be not less than 70 mm.

The rear wall 4.1 of the magazine 4 (FIG. 5) is located between the trigger 3.3 and the butt stock 6.

Claims
  • 1. The firearm containing the barrel with the breech end, the receiver, the detachable magazine, the trigger guard, the trigger, the butt stock, characterized in that the side surface of the receiver has the cutout in which the magazine is placed, the magazine itself is located vertically and outside the vertical longitudinal plane, passing through the longitudinal axis of the barrel, is completely located above the trigger guard without overlapping it, and the rear wall of the magazine is located between the trigger and the butt stock, while the distance from the breech end of the barrel to the trigger is at least 70 mm.
