DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT(S)

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a universal side basket for foldable chairs comprises a U-shaped rod 1 and a flexible cloth basket 2. The U-shaped rod 1 is bent by a rod member. One end of the U-shaped rod is a positioning end 11 and the other end thereof is a suspended end 12. The length that the positioning end is longer than the suspended end is not less than 3 cm so as to be hingedly positioned on a foldable chair rod member by means of the positioning end 11. Further, the positioning end 11 of the U-shaped rod is also hinged with the positioning lug 13 and hinged on the foldable chair rod member by means of the positioning lug 13.

When the universal side basket for foldable chairs is hinged, depending on the foldable chair support structure, it can be selected that the positioning end 11 and the foldable chair rod member can be directly hinged, or that the positioning lug 13 can excessively adjust the folded angle of the side basket. In the present figure, the side basket is hinged on the seat cushion rod member 4 of the foldable chair, and the seat cushion rod member 4 has an inclined structure. Due to limited operating space, the U-shaped rod 1 of this example is relatively small.

The flexible cloth basket 2 is processed from a flexible fabric, preferably an oxford cloth or a mesh cloth. On the flexible cloth basket 2, a cloth sleeve 21 is sewn on the three sides of upper edge of the flexible cloth basket 2, which is directly sleeved into from the suspended end 12 of the U-shaped rod by means of the cloth sleeve 21 to form a suspension structure. For the U-shaped rod 1, the upper edge of the flexible cloth basket 2 can be suspended on the U-shaped rod 1 with only three sides thereof.

Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the U-shaped rod 1 is relatively large in the present figure, has the same structure as that of FIG. 1, can accommodate more articles, and is more practical. The U-shaped rod 1 is provided with a cup holder piece 3 on both sides of a corner, respectively. The two cup holder pieces 3 and the corner constitute a complete cup holder, which provides the convenience of resting the cup, and restrains the cup or a water bottle from being in a standing state without fear of pouring out. More specifically, the cup holder 3 is provided at the corner of the U-shaped rod 1 near the positioning end 11 so that the weight of the cup or the bottle is directly transferred to the positioning end; a rivet for fixing the cup holder piece 3 sequentially passes through the cup holder piece 3, the flexible cloth basket 2 and the U-shaped rod 1 and also functions to secure the flexible cloth basket 2.

As shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, a large side basket can be assorted on the foldable directors chair to be used. The director's chair has a larger and more flexible activity space for picking up and placing on the wider side basket. In the present example, when the universal side basket for foldable chairs is hinged, the positioning end 11 of the U-shaped rod can be directly hinged with a vertical support rod 5 of the director's chair. The end portion thereof extends to the bottom of a seat cushion rod 51 and can be pressed and lifted up by the seat cushion rod 51 when opened.

Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 6, the positioning end 11 replaces a connecting rod of the foldable directors chair. That is, the end of the positioning end 11 is hinged to the seat cushion rod 51, and the middle portion is hinged on the supporting rod member 5 to form a linkage structure with the director's chair. In addition to the above two hinged relationships, it is still possible to select a hinged solution via a positioning lug 13, in which case the side basket is an independent foldable structure.

Referring to FIG. 7, the universal side basket for foldable chairs comprises a b-shaped ring 10 and a flexible cloth basket 2. The b-shaped ring 10 is bent by a rod member, and one end of the b-shaped ring 10 protrudes outside of the ring to form the positioning end 11. The length that the positioning end 11 is longer is not less than 3 cm. The b-shaped ring 10 is hingedly positioned on the foldable chair member by means of the positioning end 11 as shown in FIG. 2, FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 in details. The flexible cloth basket 2 is processed from a flexible fabric such as the oxford cloth or the mesh cloth. The upper edge thereof is suspended on the b-shaped ring, that is, the cloth sleeve 21 is processed and sleeved on a loop forming section. In the presently preferred solution, a ring formed by the b-shaped ring 10 may be an open ring or a closed ring. The closed ring refers to a contact portion of a suspended end portion and the positioning end, which is riveted or welded and fixed together. The rigidity thereof is relatively good, but the material and weight thereof are also added.

On both sides of the corner of the b-ring 10 near the positioning end, the cup holder pieces 3 are respectively provided, and the two cup holder pieces 3 and the corners constitute a complete cup holder.

The invention aims to provide a side basket structure which is matched with a foldable chair, and particularly adopts a single-end positioning solution, so that the universality thereof is stronger. The positioning end 11 or the positioning lug 13 can be hinged with any rod on the foldable chair to form a side basket structure that can be independently adjusted or linked. The positioning end 11 can be replaced by a specific lever member of the foldable chair to form an organic whole body, and the specific use thereof does not affect the composition of a side basket main body, which all covered by the protection of the present invention.
