Abstract

The combined feature of a long vertical Zipper inserted into the back of a pair of traditional jeans and complimenting undergarments with a vertical open overlapping flap is simplifying the use of a bathroom (from a woman's prospective) while dressed in full leather gear during motorcycle rides.

Description

BACKGROUND

I am a long time passenger on my husband's Honda Goldwing Motorcycle. We usually dress in full leather gear for our protection, especially on long trips.

The drawback for me as a woman is the challenge to use the restroom at our rest stops. With the layered clothing during the colder riding season it takes a long time and a lot of effort to unbuckle and drop my leather Chaps, unzip and drop my jeans and get to the remaining articles of clothing underneath. The same goes in reverse for getting dressed, tucked in, then zipped up and buckled up.

I envisioned an easier way to get through these rest stop tasks by imagining a vertical Zipper along the entire back seam of my jeans. This idea would be complimented by specialty briefs with a vertical flap opening in the back matching the zippered opening of the jeans. This way I could just unzip, unfold, use the facilities and be back on the road after a quick zip up.

SPECIFICATION

This invention consists of a long Zipper inserted vertically into the entire back seam of a pair of jeans. It begins in the center seam right below the back waist band and extends all the way to the front ending at the point of the fly.

This feature allows the jeans and Chaps to stay in place while using a restroom since the waistband holding the jeans is not disturbed therefore making the unbuckling of the Chaps unnecessary. The back Zipper creates an opening for the ease of using a bathroom while wearing the leather Chaps.

To make the easy Zipper feature complete and functioning properly it is suggested for the complimenting underwear to be worn under the UnderChaps. It is designed with a vertical open overlapping flap along the whole back, duplicating the opening created by the Zipper in the jeans.

Claims

1. This invention consists of a pair of traditional pants modified with the addition of a vertical Zipper along the entire back seam. When worn on a motorcycle in combination with leather Chaps it is allowing a new unique way of use in relation to bathroom breaks during motorcycle rides because the Jeans and Chaps stay in place. The Zipper is inserted starting right under the back center of the waistband Runs vertically along the entire back center seam all the way to the front Ends at the mark of the front fly.i) These traditional pants modified with the addition of a vertical Zipper along the entire back seam of pants are not limited to be used only in combination with Chaps on a motorcycle ride.These back-zippered pants can be worn with or without Chaps. Due to their unique zipper design allowing hassle free access to bathrooms they can be worn for any and all recreational, leisure and social activities.ii) Pants style and fabric may vary in order to facilitate the use, comfort and trend desired for other activities.For example long legged denim jeans to ride on a motorcycle or any other recreational vehicle cotton/khaki shorts for hiking and camping, micro twill trousers for claim, etc.iii) Pants design featuring the vertical Zipper insert along the entire back seam of a pair of pants remains the same, regardless of any of the various styles, materials and/or intended use for the pants.

2. This invention is accompanied by modified underwear to enable complete functionality of the Zipper Feature. Designed with an open vertical overlapping flap along the whole back centerDuplicating the opening created by the Zipper in the UnderChapsBriefs and thermals available for men and women.

3. Summery: The concept of my invention is simply the unique placement and use of the standard zipper function when added to the back of any traditional pants. This part of my invention is to be patented as the “GenderGaps System”. The modified underwear is designed to enable complete functionality of the GenderGaps System when worn together.This part of my invention is to be patented as “Underwear by GenderGaps”.
