- a landing point flowline flange is mounted at said desired landing point; and
- channel means for mounting said landing point flowline flange therein and for receiving said underwater flowline flange in a position of substantially full alignment.
- 10. The structure set forth in claim 9, including:
- flowline connection means mounted with said channel means for joining said landing flowline flange and said underwater flowline flange in fluid connection.
- 11. Apparatus for running an underwater flowline to a desired landing point, comprising:
- a flowline positioning assembly which is adapted for lowering from the surface of a body of water downwardly to a position in proximity to a flowline which has been previously laid and positioned underwater;
- said flowline positioning assembly including a funnel assembly adapted for having a flexible line extending therethrough into attachment with an underwater flowline such that said flexible line is extendable from said underwater flowline through said funnel assembly and upwardly to the surface of a body of water with said flowline positioning assembly being lowered to a position adjacent to said underwater flowline;
- said funnel assembly including control means for directing the travel of said underwater flowline inwardly toward said funnel assembly in response to the manipulation of said flexible line such that said underwater flowline is partially positioned with respect to a desired landing point; and
- said funnel assembly further including a remotely operable power means for engaging said underwater flowline in said position of partial alignment and for moving said underwater flowline from said position of partial alignment to a finally aligned position with respect to said landing point.
