- 6. An agricultural implement comprising:a draw bar adapted for connection to a prime mover; a tool bar connected to said draw bar and including left and right wing members pivotally movable about a corresponding wing pivot axis relative to said draw bar, each of said wing members having a wing actuator effecting said pivotal movement of said wing members so as to be movable between a laterally extending operating position and a forwardly folded transport position, said wing pivot axes extending in a fore-and-aft direction when said wing members are in said operating position so that pivotal movement of said wing members will allow a floating movement of said wing members for following changing ground contours; a pivot linkage connected to each said wing actuator and interconnecting each said wing member and said draw bar to allow said floating movement of said wing member while holding said wing actuator as a rigid link; a tower apparatus having a laterally extending passageway therethrough in alignment with said pivot linkage, an upward said floating movement of said wing members causing said pivot linkage to enter said tower apparatus through said passageway; a releasable latch mechanism mounted on said tower apparatus to lock said tool bar in a forward pivoted position corresponding to said transport position; and an unfold finger positionable within said tower apparatus to block said passageway when said wing members are moved into said transport position, said unfold finger providing a stop against which said pivot linkages push to allow said wing actuators to pivotally move said wing members from said transport position to said laterally extending operating position.
- 7. The agricultural implement of claim 6 wherein said unfold finger is in a non-interfering position with respect to said passageway when said tool bar is moved into said operating position.
- 8. An agricultural implement comprising:a draw bar adapted for connection to a prime mover; a tool bar connected to said draw bar and including left and right wing members pivotally movable about a corresponding wing pivot axis relative to said draw bar between a laterally extending operating position and a forwardly folded transport position, said wing pivot axes extending in a fore-and-aft direction when said wing members are in said operating position so that pivotal movement of said wing members will allow a floating movement of said wing members for following changing ground contours; a pivot mechanism interconnecting said draw bar and said tool bar to effect a pivotal rotation of said tool bar, in a forward direction as said tool bar is moved from said operating position to said transport position; a pivot linkage connected to each said wing actuator and interconnecting each said wing member and said draw bar to cause the forward folding movement of said wing members from said operating position to said transport position, said pivot linkage including a wing actuator for effecting the pivotal movement of said wing members, said pivot linkage being operable to allow said floating movement of said wing member while holding said wing actuator as a rigid link; a tower apparatus having a laterally extending passageway therethrough in alignment with said pivot linkage, an upward said floating movement of said wing members causing said pivot linkage to enter said tower apparatus through said passageway; and an unfold finger supported on said draw bar at a position to be selectively positioned within said passageway when said tool bar is rotated into a transport position against said draw bar, thereby blocking said passageway only when said wing members are being rotated with said tool bar to effect movement thereof into said transport position.
