The claimed unified passenger service unit is mountable to an overhead panel of an aircraft passenger cabin and/oriented toward a particular passenger seat to provide the occupant of the seat with adjustable ventilation, illumination, and communication services (e.g., two way communication with flight attendants or cabin crew) via a single compact device.
