Claims
- 1. A stack of moist abrasive wipes within a container, said stack comprising a plurality of moist abrasive sheets, said sheets comprising an abrasive surface layer thermally bonded to a meltblown supporting web and containing from about 100 to about 700 dry weight percent liquid based on the dry weight of the supporting web, said abrasive surface layer comprising meltblown fibers and irregular-shaped polymeric globules having a diameter of at least about 40 micrometers, wherein each of the sheets within the stack of wipes contains substantially the same concentration of liquid and can maintain an eqaul concentration of liquid for at least 30 days.
- 2. The stack of moist abrasive wipes of claim 1 wherein the sheets have an abrasive surface layer on both sides of the supporting web.
- 3. The stack of moist abrasive wipes of claim 1 wherein the sheets have an abrasive surface layer only on one side of the supporting web.
- 4. The stack of moist wipes of claim 1 wherein said sheets contain from about 150 to about 500 weight percent liquid based on the dry weight percent of the supporting web.
- 5. The stack of moist wipes of claim 4 wherein said sheets contain from about 350 to about 400 dry weight percent liquid.
- 6. The stack of moist wipes of claim 1 wherein the abrasive surface layer has a basis weight of from about 1 to about 25 grams per square meter.
- 7. The stack of moist wipes of claim 6 wherein the abrasive surface layer has a basis weight of from about 3 to about 10 grams per square meter.
- 8. The stack of moist wipes of claim 1 wherein the supporting web is a microfiber meltblown web.
- 9. The stack of moist wipes of claim 8 wherein the meltblown abrasive layer and the microfiber meltblown supporting layer are polypropylene.
