Claims
- 1. A control unit of an internal combustion engine, the control unit comprising:an accelerator opening sensor for detecting an accelerator opening value corresponding to an accelerator opening in accordance with an amount of depression of an acceleration pedal; a throttle-valve opening sensor for detecting a throttle valve opening value corresponding to an opening of a throttle valve disposed in a suction passage of the engine; a motor for opening/closing the throttle valve in accordance with the accelerator opening and throttle valve opening values; commanded-value setting means for reading the accelerator opening value at each of first cycles and setting a commanded value of the opening of the throttle valve in accordance with the accelerator opening value; throttle-valve opening/closing means for outputting an operating signal in accordance with the commanded value; means for storing an opening of the throttle valve such that the throttle valve opening value is read at each of second cycles shorter than the first cycles and stored together with a reacting time thereof; means for determining a deviation between a previous opening of the throttle valve stored in the means for storing the opening of the throttle valve to the present opening of the throttle valve and comparing the deviation to a reference value; and operation-signal correction means for calculating, when the deviation between the previous opening of the throttle valve and the present opening of the throttle valve is not greater than the reference value, a predicted correction term in accordance with the deviation and a present throttle position and correcting an operation signal output from the throttle-valve opening/closing means based on the predicted correction term.
- 2. A control unit according to claim 1, further comprising means for setting the opening/closing velocity of the throttle valve in accordance with the commanded value.
- 3. A control unit according to claim 2, wherein the operation signal output from the means for opening/closing the throttle valve represents a duty ratio of electric power supplied to the motor.
- 4. A control unit according to claim 3, further comprising means for correcting a rotating force of the motor, the means fur correcting enlarging the rotating force when the throttle valve is moved in an opening direction and reducing the rotating force when the throttle valve is moved in the closing direction.
- 5. A control unit according to claim 1, wherein the operation-signal correction means calculates the predicted correction term by multiplying a predicted deviation obtained from the deviation between the previous throttle opening and the present throttle opening by a gain obtained from the present throttle position and a movement velocity of the throttle valve.
- 6. A control unit according to claim 1, wherein opening/closing of the throttle valve is controlled under PID control, and the predicted correction term is used for correcting an integral term for the PID control.
