- 7. A clamp as in claim 6 wherein said resilient pad means includes an outer resilient pad adhered to said flap between said first and second portion and having an adhesive surface for contacting said positioned rod-like article.
- 8. A clamp in claim 4 further comprising remote fastening means for fastening at least one additional article to said clamp, and including a hook material or a loop material to mate with an outer surface of one of said first and second holding means.
- 9. A clamp as in claim 2 wherein said first holding means is releasable and said second holding means is non-releasable.
- 10. A clamp as in claim 9 wherein said second holding means includes a first substrate adhered between said base means and either a hook fabric pad or loop fabric pad, and said flap includes a second substrate attached to said first substrate by said first holding means.
- 11. A clamp as in claim 10 wherein said first substrate in integral with said second substrate.
- 12. A clamp as in claim 11 wherein said first and second substrates are hook and loop fabric backing.
- 13. A clamp as in claim 12 wherein said hook fabric pad includes hook fabric woven into said fabric backing.
- 14. A clamp as in claim 13 wherein said loop fabric pad includes loop fabric woven into said fabric backing.
- 15. A clamp as in claim 14 wherein said first substrate is adhered to said base means by hot melt adhesive.
- 16. A clamp as in claim 15 wherein said resilient pad means includes hot melt adhesive applied to all or a portion of said fabric backing between said hook fabric pad and said loop fabric pad.
- 17. A clamp as in claim 1 wherein said resilient pad means includes a foam material.
- 18. A clamp as in claim 1 wherein said resilient pad means includes a hot melt adhesive material.
- 19. A clamp as in claim 1, wherein said second holding means includes a first substrate adhered to said base means and said flap includes a second substrate.
- 20. A clamp as in claim 19, wherein said first and second substrates are hook and loop fabric backing.
- 21. A clamp as in claim 20, wherein said hook fabric pad includes hook fabric woven into said fabric backing.
- 22. A clamp as in claim 21, wherein said loop fabric pad includes loop fabric woven into said fabric backing.
- 23. A clamp as in claim 22, wherein said first substrate is adhered to said base means by hot melt adhesive.
- 24. A clamp as in claim 23, wherein said resilient pad means includes hot melt adhesive applied to all or a portion of said fabric backing between said hook fabric pad and said loop fabric pad.
- 25. A clamp for holding a nasal tube in the nostril of a person comprising:
- a. base means for adhering said clamp to such person;
- b. a flap;
- c. resilient pad means adhered to said flap and having an adhesive surface for contacting and holding said nasal tube; and
- d. securing means for securing said flap to said base means with a portion of said flap held at an angle to said base means to hold said nasal tube at an angle from such nostril without crimping said nasal tube.
- 26. A clamp for holding an IV device to a patient comprising:
- a. base means for adhering the clamp to the patient, said base means having a base slot found therein for positioning the clamp on the patient with the IV puncture point within the base slot;
- b. a flap having a flap slot formed therein for allowing access to the IV device and absorbent pad having means for overlapping the puncture and for absorbing liquids,
- c. securing means for securing said flap to said base means and including a first holding means for holding a first portion of said flap and a second holding means for holding a second portion of said flap, said second holding means being spaced from said first holding means a sufficient distance for the device to extend therebetween.
- 27. A clamp as in claim 26, further comprising:
- first resilient pad means adhered to said base means and having an adhesive surface for contacting and holding said absorbent pad overlaying such puncture;
- second resilient pad means adhered to said base means and having an adhesive surface for contacting and securely holding an article and allowing movement of such an article relative to said flap; and
- third resilient pad means adhered to said flap and having an adhesive surface for contacting and securely holding such article, and allowing movement of such article relative to said base means.
