Claims
- 1. An artificial tooth formed of a composition comprising a (meth)acrylic acid derivative of a triisocyanate of the formula ##STR10## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and stand for hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical,
- R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are identical or different and denote hydrogen or methyl,
- Y.sup.1 to Y.sup.3 are identical or different and denote divalent straight-chain or branched hydrocarbon radicals of 2 to 15 carbon atoms which may optionally include 1 to 3 oxygen bridges and which may be unsubstituted or substituted by 1 to 4 additional (meth)acryloyloxy radicals,
- X.sup.1 to X.sup.3 are identical or different and denote --NR.sup.1 -- or --O--, at least one of the radicals X.sup.1 to X.sup.3 denoting --NR.sup.1 --, and the rings
- A and B are identical or different and may be aromatic or saturated.
- 2. An artificial tooth of a triisocyanate according to claim 1, wherein
- R.sup.1 stands for hydrogen,
- R.sup.2 stands for hydrogen or alkyl radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms,
- R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are identical or different and denote hydrogen or methyl,
- Y.sup.1 to Y.sup.3 are identical or different and denote divalent straight-chain or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals of 2 to 10 carbon atoms which may optionally include 1 or 2 oxygen bridges and which may be unsubstituted or substituted by 1 or 2 additional (meth)acryloyloxy radicals,
- X.sup.1 stands for --O--,
- X.sup.2 and X.sup.3 denote --NR.sup.1 --,
- the ring B is aromatic or saturated and the ring A is saturated.
- 3. An artificial tooth of a triisocyanate according to claim 1, wherein
- R.sup.1 stands for hydrogen,
- R.sup.2 stands for hydrogen or methyl,
- R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are identical or different and denote hydrogen or methyl,
- Y.sup.1 to Y.sup.3 are identical or different and denote divalent straight-chain or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals of 2 to 10 carbon atoms which may optionally include 1 or 2 oxygen bridges and which may be unsubstituted or substituted by 1 or 2 additional (meth)acryloyloxy radicals,
- X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 stand for --O--,
- X.sup.3 denotes NR.sup.1, and the rings
- A and B are saturated.
- 4. An artificial tooth according to claim 1, formed of the following monomers in approximately the indicated molar amounts:

- 5. An artificial tooth according to claim 1, formed of the following monomers in approximately the indicated molar amounts:
- ______________________________________HDMA 0.355GDMA 0.240M-triisocyanate 0.721 NCOBAEMA 0.487______________________________________
- 6. An artificial tooth according to claim 1, formed of the following monomers in approximately the indicated molar amounts:
- ______________________________________HDMA 0.393GDMA 0.480M-triisocyanate 0.721 NCOBAEMA 0.243______________________________________
- 7. An artificial tooth according to claim 1, formed of the following monomers in approximately the indicated molar amounts:
- ______________________________________HDMA 0.735GDMA 0.480Triisocyanate 0.720 NCOBAEMA 0.245______________________________________
- 8. An artificial tooth according to claim 1, formed of the following monomers in approximately the indicated molar amounts:
- ______________________________________ GDMA 0.393 M-triisocyanate 0.221 BAEMA 0.243______________________________________
- 9. In the filling of a tooth or the formation of a tooth wherein a polymerizable derivatives if applied and polymerized, the improvement wherein such derivatives is a derivative according to claim 1.
