Claims
- 1. In a method of manufacturing solenoidal electric field discharge lamps having a glass surface the steps of wetting said glass surface with metallic wetting agent selected from the group consisting of indium and gallium; and disposing a lead-bismuth-tin alloy on said wetting agent.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
This is a division of application Ser. No. 399,522, filed July 19, 1982, U.S. Pat. No. 4,499,400 which is a continuation-in-part of application Ser. No. 214,903, filed Dec. 10, 1980, now abandoned which is a divisional of application Ser. No. 954,411, filed Oct. 25, 1978, now issued as U.S. Pat. No. 4,262,231.
