Claims
- 1. A method for prevention or treatment of bone loss following tooth extractions, comprising topical administration to gingival mucosal tissue of the oral cavity, of a composition providing from about 0.001% to about 0.2% of ketorolac in the oral cavity, wherein said composition is not swallowed and is expectorated after about at least 15 seconds in the mouth.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the composition providing such ketorolac levels is flavored dental solution.
- 3. The method of claim 1 wherein the ketorolac consists substantially of the (-) of S enantiomer.
