Claims
- 1. A process for augmenting or enhancing the aroma or taste of a foodstuff or chewing gum comprising the step of intimately admixing with said foodstuff or chewing gum from 0.02 parts per million up to about 50 parts per million by weight based on said foodstuff or chewing gum of a Schiff base reaction product produced according to the process of reacting methyl anthranilate with canthoxal having the structure: ##STR225## whereby a composition of matter containing the compound having the structure: ##STR226## is produced.
