Claims
- 1. A process for softening human or animal hair which comprises applying to said human or animal hair a composition comprising a thioglycolic acid compound at a concentration of about 0.01M to about 0.2M, and a thioredoxin or thioredoxin-derived, or thioredoxin-like, dithiol peptide at a concentration of about 1 nmole/ml to about 100 nmole/ml.

The present application is a divisional application of co-pending application Ser. No. 770,498 filed Aug. 28, 1985 which is a continuation-in-part of Ser. No. 674,893 filed Nov. 26, 1984 now abandoned.
