Description
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

This application claims priority to and the benefit of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2020-0116520, filed on Sep. 11, 2020, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.

FIELD

The present disclosure relates to an UV sterilization system for a vehicle.

BACKGROUND

The statements in this section merely provide background information related to the present disclosure and may not constitute prior art.

Some of the belongings of vehicle occupants are contaminated with bacteria, etc.

For example, there are cases where more bacteria or bacteria inhabit the belongings of a vehicle occupant, such as a mobile phone or a vehicle key, than a toilet.

When the belongings of the vehicle or occupant are contaminated with bacteria, the probability of infection with the vehicle occupant is increased through this, and accordingly, contamination can be expanded to a large area.

By using UV, particularly UV-C, more than 99.9% of bacteria can be removed, so a method using UV as a method to sterilize bacteria in a vehicle is being researched.

The above information disclosed in this Background section is only for enhancement of understanding of the background of the disclosure, and therefore it may contain information that does not form the prior art that is already known to a person of ordinary skill in the art.
