The disclosure relates to vacuum devices and more particularly pertains to a new vacuum device for suctionally removing animal feces from a support surface.
SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a housing that may be positioned proximate animal feces on a support surface. The housing is structured to have air urged therethrough and a bag is removably coupled to the housing. A canister is removably coupled to the housing such that the bag is contained within the canister. A motor is coupled to the housing and a fan is rotatably coupled to the motor. Thus, the motor rotates the fan when the motor is turned on. The fan urges air inwardly through the housing such that the housing may suctionally remove the animal feces from the support surface. The fan urges air outwardly through the housing such that the bag may receive the animal feces. A switch is coupled to the housing. The switch is coupled to the motor such that the switch turns the motor on and off.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
A bag 30 is provided and the bag 30 is removably positioned around the rear end 28. The bag 30 is comprised of an air permeable material such as cotton or the like. A band 32 is provided and the band 32 is positioned around the bag 30 when the bag 30 is positioned on the housing 12. The band 32 is comprised of a resiliently stretchable material such that the band 32 retains the bag 30 on the housing 12. A canister 34 is provided and the canister 34 has a rear wall 36 and a peripheral wall 38 extending away from the rear wall 36. The peripheral wall 38 has a distal edge 40 with respect to the rear wall 36. The canister 34 is removably coupled to the housing 12 having the distal edge 40 of the canister 34 abutting the rear end 28 such that the bag 30 is contained within the canister 34.
A handle 42 is attached to the housing 12 such that the handle 42 may be gripped. The handle 42 is positioned on the body portion 14 and the handle 42 is arcuate. A lock 44 is coupled to the housing 12 and the lock 44 is positioned on the body portion 14. The lock 44 is positioned adjacent to the rear end 28 and the lock 44 engages the canister 34 such that the lock 44 removably retains the canister 34 on the housing 12. A clip 46 is coupled to the housing 12 and the clip 46 is positioned on the body portion 14. The clip 46 engages clothing 48 of a user 50 thereby facilitating the housing 12 to be stored on the user's clothing 48.
A motor 52 is coupled to the housing 12 and the motor 52 is positioned within the body portion 14. A fan 54 is rotatably coupled to the motor 52 such that the motor 52 rotates the fan 54 when the motor 52 is turned on. The fan 54 urges air inwardly through the distal end 18 of the nozzle portion 16 such that the nozzle portion 16 may suctionally remove the animal feces 26 from the support surface 27. The fan 54 urges air outwardly through the rear end 28 of the body portion 14 such that the bag 30 may receive the animal feces 26.
A switch 56 is coupled to the housing 12 and the switch 56 is positioned on the handle 42 such that the switch 56 may be manipulated. The switch 56 is electrically coupled to the motor 52 such that the switch 56 turns the motor 52 on and off. A power supply 58 is coupled to the housing 12 and the power supply 58 is positioned within the body portion 16. The power supply 58 is electrically coupled to the motor 52 and the power supply 58 comprises at least one battery 60. A battery cover 62 is removably attached to the body portion 14 and the battery 60 is positioned beneath the battery cover 62.
In use, the bag 30 is attached to the housing 12 and the canister 34 is attached to the housing 12. The nozzle portion 16 is extended to a selected length thereby facilitating the distal end 18 of the nozzle portion 16 to be positioned proximate the animal feces 26. The switch 56 is manipulated such that the animal feces 26 is sucked through the cup 24 and deposited in the bag 30. The bag 30 is removed from the housing 12 when the animal feces 26 are deposited in the bag 30 and the bag 30 is disposed of.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
