Claims
- 1. A vehicle mount for a maneuvering a utilitarian accessory relative to a substrate, comprising:
a receiver attached to the chassis of said vehicle, said receiver having a pair of spaced guides and at least one bar, said at least one bar being positioned above said pair of spaced guides relative to said substrate; a frame adapted to be received by said receiver, said frame comprising a pair of spaced extensions, each extension adapted to be received by a corresponding respective one of said pair of spaced guides; said frame further comprising a pair of spaced pivotable latches, each of said latches having a recess shaped to receive said bar, each of said recesses having an open end, whereby when said frame is mounted to said receiver, said open end of each of said recesses does not face toward said chassis of said vehicle.
- 2. The vehicle mount of claim 1, wherein said substrate is the ground.
- 3. The vehicle mount of claim 1, wherein said pair of spaced latches are spaced a distance greater than the distance between said pair of spaced extensions.
- 4. The vehicle mount of claim 1, wherein each of said pair of spaced guides is tapered.
- 5. The vehicle mount of claim 1, wherein said receiver comprises two spaced bars, and wherein each of said pair of spaced pivotable latches receives a respective one of said two bars.
- 6. The vehicle mount of claim 1, wherein said utilitarian accessory is a snow plow blade.
- 7. A vehicle mount for a maneuvering a utilitarian accessory relative to a substrate, comprising:
a receiver attached to the chassis of said vehicle, said receiver having first and second spaced guides and first and second spaced bars, said first bar being positioned laterally outwardly of said first guide and said second bar being positioned laterally outwardly of said second guide; a frame adapted to be received by said receiver, said frame comprising first and second spaced extensions, each extension adapted to be received by a corresponding respective one of said first and second spaced guides; said frame further comprising first and second spaced pivotable latches, each of said latches having a recess shaped to receive a respective one of said first and second spaced bars, each of said recesses having an open end, whereby when said frame is mounted to said receiver, said open end of each of said recesses does not face toward said chassis of said vehicle.
- 8. The vehicle mount of claim 7, wherein said first latch is positioned laterally outwardly of said first extension.
- 9. The vehicle mount of claim 7, wherein said utilitarian accessory is a snow plow blade.
- 10. The vehicle mount of claim 7, wherein said substrate is the ground.
