BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improved Venetian blind assembly wherein each slat is wrapped in an equally distanced enclosure space of a continuous shelter layer that is engaged with each slat so as to form folded and equally distanced decorative connections among the slats. Thereby all the so formed decorative connections draping down among the slats can move in synchronism with the slats and make the Venetian blind as a whole produce a sense of gradation and offer an artistic effect in appearance.
In general, the common Venetian blinds equipped with vertical or horizontal slats are operated with pull cords to drive the slats to extend downwardly or to collect upwardly to offer a shade effect. Such a Venetian blind looks dull and monotonous in appearance.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide with an improved Venetian blind assembly equipped with a continuous shelter layer which is folded at equal distance and provided with a plurality of enclosure spaces so that the slats can be removably housed in the enclosure spaces individually whereby between every two slats a decorative connection drapes down in a flexible manner and can be moved in synchronism with the slats. Thus, the Venetian blind as a whole looks more artistic in appearance with its commercial value increased.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to FIG. 1 of the perspective explosion of the first embodiment of the present invention together with the perspective diagram of the assembly illustrated in FIG. 2, the Venetian blind 10 in the first embodiment is equipped with a plurality of vertically disposed slats 12 that are fixed to the underside of the upper beam 11 in such a manner that the slats 12 can be collected and extended with its angles variably controlled in operation. Between every two slats 12 is provided with an equally sized section of a continuous shelter layer 20, which can be made of lucent lace fabric or all kinds of non-lucent fabric. At one end of the continuous shelter layer 20 is sewn a fixture inner layer 21 with a plurality of passages 22, as shown in FIG. 3, defined at the sewn edge thereof. Moreover, at both ends of the shelter layer 20 are disposed a folded top and bottom closure section 23, 24 at an equal distance in match with the width of the slats 12, forming an enclosure space 25 between the top closure section 23 and the bottom closure section 24 for the insertion of each slat 12 from one side of the enclosure space 25. In such a manner, the top closure section 23 and the bottom closure section 24 are laterally astride across the top and bottom end of the slat 12 respectively with the slat 12 fully received in the enclosure space 25.
The continuous shelter layer 20 are folded and fixed in position at an equal distance as a result of the equally distanced enclosure space 25, forming an equally spaced decorative connection 26 between every two slats 12. Such decorative connections 26 between every two slats 12 can be flexibly collected and extended in synchronism with the movement of the slats 12. A fixture clamp 30 having an opening 31 which is expanded by the width of the slat 12 when forced downwardly is engaged with the passage 22 defined between the shelter layer 20 and the fixture inner layer 21 so as to permit the shelter layer 20 to be detachably and downwardly extendedly fixed in place to the top end of each slat 12.
With all the enclosure spaces 25 of the continuous shelter layer 20 engaged and operated together with the slats 12, the Venetian blind 10 can produce a special sense of gradation in operation. Besides, the decorative connections 26 drapes downwardly in a natural and flexible manner between the slats 12 whereby such a Venetian blind 10 looks more artistically as a whole in installation in one aspect and can enjoy an increased commercial value and better market competition.
As further shown in FIGS. 4, 5, in another embodiment of the present invention, at the bottom edge of the shelter layer 20 are disposed a plurality of delicate holes 22′, so as to permit the fixture clamp 30′ can be directly secured to the top end of the slats 12. Referring to FIG. 6, the fixture clamp 30′ has an opening 31′ which is equipped with an upwardly extended hook 32′ of a proper length that is led through and fixedly engaged with each delicate hole 22′ of the shelter layer 20 so that the fixture inner layer 21 of the shelter layer 20 can be firmly secured to the extended hooks 32′ by way of the gravity weight thereof, making the assembly easier and faster.
As shown in FIG. 7, in the third embodiment of the present invention, the top edge of the enclosure space 25 of the shelter layer 20 can be left open without sewing as in the first and second embodiment so that the shelter layer 20 can be individually engaged with and fixed to a slat 12 by way of the fixture clamps 30, 30′ in cooperation with the passages 22 defined on the fixture inner layer 21.
