1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a vessel, more particularly one, which can be easily cleaned, and which is structured in such a manner that it is relatively difficult for a malicious person to add poisonous substance to the drinks through a spout thereof.
2. Brief Description of the Prior Art
Scientists, inventors and industries of many countries around the world have since Sep. 11, 2001 begun to spend more time and resources developing various security devices to prevent people from being attacked and harmed by terrorists or malicious persons.
Shown in
The above vessel 5 has the following drawbacks:
The cover 52 can be easily opened. Therefore, a malicious person can add poisonous substance to the drinks held in the containing body 51 through the opening 511. Furthermore, poisonous substance can be easily injected into the spout 513 by a malicious person because the spout 513 isn't equipped with any security device.
Second, the spout 513 includes single part incapable of being separated. Consequently, the inner side of the spout 513 can't be easily cleaned.
It is a main object of the present invention to provide a vessel to overcome the above problems.
A vessel in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention consists of a containing body, an intermediate covering part, and an upper cover. The intermediate covering part is positioned above an upper opening of the body, and has a spout, which forms a liquid outlet of the vessel together with a corresponding spout formed on the body; thus, the liquid outlet of the vessel can be easily cleaned. The upper cover is threadedly joined in the upper end of the body to fix the intermediate cover to the body. The spout of the body has a transverse upwards-sticking first stopping portion, and the spout of the intermediate covering part has a transverse downwards-sticking second stopping portion. The first and the second stopping portions are a distance from each other, and the uppermost end of the first stopping portion is higher than the lowermost end of the second stopping portion. Therefore, the stopping portions together make it difficult for a malicious person to add poisonous substance to the contents of the body through the outlet.
Furthermore, the intermediate covering part has an inner gap, which allows air to travel into the body; thus, convection can occur for liquid contents to be easily poured out of the body. The body has a handle, which has an embedding cavity thereon, and an identifying block is embedded in the embedding cavity. The upper cover has two pivotal plates in an upper recess, and a user can turn the upper cover after having moved the pivotal plates to a substantially erect position.
The present invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Referring to
The containing body 1 has an opening 11 on an upper end, and two opposite joining portions 12 under the opening 11 on an inner circumferential side thereof; the joining portions 12 can be formed with threads. The containing body 1 further has a passage 13 between the joining portions 12. The containing body 1 has a spout 14 protruding from a first side thereof, which has a middle portion, and two raised edges on two sides of the middle portion. The containing body 1 has a first stopping portion 15, which crosses through the spout 14, and is higher than the raised edges of the spout 14, and which slopes down towards an inside of the containing body 1. The containing body 1 has a handle 16 sticking from a second side thereof, which faces in an opposite direction from the first side formed with the spout 14. The handle 16 has an embedding cavity 17 thereon, and an identifying block 18 is removably embedded in the embedding cavity 17 to indicate the liquid content of the containing body 1.
The intermediate covering part 2 has an annular portion 21, a spout 22 protruding from a first side of the annular portion 21, and an inner annular member 23, which exists within and adjoins the annular portion 21. The inner annular member 23 has a gap 24 thereon, which faces in an opposite direction from the spout 22, and serves as an air passage; the gap 24 allows air to travel into the containing body 1, and in turn convection can occur for liquid contents to be easily poured out of the containing body 1. The spout 22 has a middle portion, and two raised edges on two sides of the middle portion. The intermediate covering part 2 has a second stopping portion 25, which crosses through the spout 22, and sticks beyond the raised edges of the spout 22, and which is serrated.
The upper cover 3 has a joining portion 31 on an outer circumferential side, and an annular recessed portion 32 on an upper side thereof; the joining portion 31 can be formed with threads. The upper cover 3 further has two pivotal plate parts 33, which are positioned side by side in the annular recessed portion 32, and pivoted to a middle portion of the upper cover 3 at inward edges thereof, thus being capable of being pivoted to a substantially erect position; the user can exert force on the plate parts 33 to turn the upper cover 3 after having erected the pivotal plate parts 33 for the plate parts 33 to be propped against each other. The pivotal plate parts 33 each have a recessed portion 34 on an outward edge of a bottom side thereof, which outward edge is farthest away from the inward edge than other portions, as shown in
In assembly, referring to
Therefore, force can be applied to the pivotal plate parts 33 of the upper cover 3 to turn loose the upper cover 3 after the user has erected the plate parts 33 for the plate parts 33 to be propped against each other.
From the above description, it can be seen that the vessel of the present invention has the following advantages:
1. The upper cover can't be easily opened because the uppermost side of the upper cover will be lower than or as high as the uppermost portion of the intermediate covering part after the upper cover has been turned tight. Therefore, it is more difficult for a malicious person to add poisonous substance to the liquid contents of the containing body.
2. The first stopping portion of the spout of the containing body and the second stopping portion of the spout of the intermediate covering part together can prevent a malicious person from injecting poisonous substance into the containing body by means of a syringe because the uppermost end of the first stopping portion is higher than the lowermost end of the second stopping portion for the stopping portions together to obstruct the passage of rigid objects such as a syringe.
3. The inner annular member of the intermediate covering part has a gap to serve as an air passage allowing air to travel into the containing body. Therefore, convection can occur, and liquid contents can be more easily poured out of the containing body of the vessel.
4. The handle of the containing body has an embedding cavity thereon, and an identifying block is embedded in the embedding cavity to indicate the liquid content of the containing body.
