The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention(s). It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art, or material, to the presently described or claimed inventions, or that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
The present invention relates generally to the field of vehicle windshield wipers. More specifically, the invention is a vibrating vehicle windshield wiper with heating element to better remove snow, rain, and other inclement weather debris from the windshield of vehicles.
Driving during wintry weather can be problematic, difficult, and frustrating. Snow and ice can accumulate on the windshield wipers and be difficult to clean off. Drivers may be forced to stop their vehicle and use manual brushes and scrapers to clear the windshield due to the wipers being unable to effectively remove debris. Standard windshield wipers may get frozen and vehicle owners will have to wait to drive until the wipers are defrosted.
Ideally, a vibrating vehicle windshield wiper with heating element should provide a pair of heated windshield wipers that vibrate to better remove snow and other inclement weather debris and, yet would operate reliably and be manufactured at a modest expense. Thus, a need exists for a reliable a heated vibrating vehicle windshield wiper to avoid the above-mentioned problems.
In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known vehicle windshield wiper art, the present invention provides a novel vibrating vehicle windshield wiper with defrosting system. The general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail is to provide private and commercial vehicles with modified windshield wipers used to effectively clear away snow, ice, and other inclement weather debris from both the vehicle windshield and the wipers themselves. It should be noted that the vibrating vehicle windshield wiper with defrosting system mat also be suitably used on devices such as but not limited to airplanes, trains, ships and sailing boats.
The presently claimed invention ensures the windshield wipers remain functional at all times, eliminating the need to apply manual brushes and scrapers to a windshield and utilizes sensors to automatically trigger the heating element, controllable via the internal defrosting mechanism in the vehicle.
The presently claimed invention holds significant improvements and serves as vibrating vehicle windshield wipers with a heating system. For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention. Thus, the invention may be embodied or carried out in a manner that achieves or optimizes one advantage or group of advantages as taught herein without necessarily achieving other advantages as may be taught or suggested herein. The features of the invention that are believed to be novel are particularly pointed out and distinctly claimed in the concluding portion of the specification. These and other features, aspects, and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings and detailed description.
The figures that accompany the written portion of this specification illustrate embodiments and method(s) of use for the present invention, a vibrating vehicle windshield wiper with defrosting mechanism, constructed and operative according to the teachings of the present invention.
The various embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in conjunction with the appended drawings, wherein like designations denote like elements.
As discussed above, embodiments of the presently claimed invention relate to a vibrating vehicle windshield wiper with a defrosting system and more particularly to a vehicle windshield wiper that uses vibration and a defrosting system to keep both the vehicle windshield and the windshield wipers themselves free from snow, ice, and other inclement weather debris, improving visibility and thus safety while driving in inclement weather.
Generally speaking, the wipers can be fitted onto any make or model of vehicle. Users are able to remove all debris while the vehicle is in operation, improving roadway safety during inclement weather. As stated previously, the vibrating vehicle windshield wiper with defrosting system may also be suitably used on devices such as but not limited to airplanes, trains, ships and sailing boats
Referring to the drawings by numerals of reference there is shown in
The windshield wiper 1 has a vibration motor 7 at the connection between the blade support 3 and the wiper arm 4. The vibration motor 7 causes the blade support 3 to vibrate, thereby vibrating the wiper blade 2. By vibrating the blade support 3 and wiper blade 2, the windshield wiper 1 shakes debris free from the wiper blades 2 for convenient removal.
