Claims
- 1. A printer apparatus comprising:
- a print-inhibit signal detecting device for detecting a print inhibit signal, superposed in a vertical blanking interval of a video signal, wherein a second video signal, which represents an image of a subject photographed at a high shutter speed, has been inserted once every plurality of frames of a first video signal, representing the image of the subject photographed at an ordinary shutter speed relatively lower than the high shutter speed and including a print inhibit signal which inhibits printing of an image of the corresponding first video signal, the print inhibit signal being superposed in a vertical blanking interval of the first video signal;
- a memory control device for controlling, based upon the print inhibit signal detected by said print-inhibit signal detecting device, storage of a further video signal which does not contain the detected print inhibit signal in a corresponding vertical blanking interval, in a memory; and
- a printing device for reading the stored video signal out of said memory based upon control performed by said memory control device, and printing an image represented by the read-out video signal.
- 2. The printer apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising:
- a warning-signal detecting device for detecting whether a warning signal, indicating the presence of the second video signal, has been superposed in the vertical blanking interval of the first video signal immediately preceding the second video signal; and
- a preparation-signal output device, responsive to the warning signal being detected by said warning-signal detecting device, for outputting a preparation signal to said memory control device to prepare control by said memory control device, for storage of the second video signal in said memory.
- 3. The printer apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising an outputting-condition signal detecting device for detecting an information signal, superposed in the vertical blanking interval of the second video signal, representing photographic information prevailing when the second video signal is obtained or output information useful when outputting a picture represented by the second video signal.
- 4. The printer apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said print-inhibit signal detecting device includes:
- a reading device for reading video signals from a recording medium on which the first video signal and a second video signal have been recorded by recording one frame of the second video signal for every plurality of frames of the first video signal;
- a superposed-signal detecting device for detecting and outputting a superposed signal, superposed in the vertical blanking interval, from the video signal read by said reading device;
- superposed-signal output verifying device for verifying whether the superposed signal detected and outputted by said superposed-signal detecting device ceases periodically; and
- a print-inhibit signal output circuit for outputting, as the print inhibit signal, the superposed signal detected by said superposed-signal detecting device when said superposed-signal output verifying device has verified that output of the superposed signal ceases periodically.
- 5. The printer apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said print-inhibit signal detecting device includes:
- a reading device for reading video signals from a recording medium on which the first video signal and the second video signal have been recorded by recording one frame of the second video signal for every plurality of frames of the first video signal; and
- a superposed-signal detecting device for detecting and outputting the print inhibit signal, superposed in the vertical blanking interval, from the video signal read by said reading device.
- 6. The printer apparatus according to claim 1, further including a print button, said memory control device controlling storage of said video signal not containing a detected print inhibit signal in said memory in response to a print command from said print button.
- 7. A method of controlling a printer apparatus, comprising the steps of:
- detecting a print inhibit signal, superposed in a vertical blanking interval of a composite video signal which includes a first video signal and a second video signal, wherein the second video signal, which represents an image of a subject photographed at a high shutter speed, has been inserted once every plurality of frames of the first video signal, representing the image of the subject photographed at an ordinary shutter speed relatively lower than the high shutter speed and including a print inhibit signal which inhibits printing of an image of the corresponding first video signal, the print inhibit signal being superposed in a vertical blanking interval of the first video signal;
- storing a further video signal which does not contain the print inhibit signal in a corresponding vertical blanking interval; and
- printing an image represented by the stored video signal.
- 8. The method according to claim 7, further comprising the steps of:
- detecting whether a warning signal, indicating the presence of the second video signal, has been superposed in the vertical blanking interval of the first video signal immediately preceding the second video signal; and
- preparing for storage of the second video signal in response to detection of the warning signal.
- 9. The method according to claim 7, further comprising the step of detecting an information signal, superposed in the vertical blanking interval of the second video signal, representing photographic information prevailing when the second video signal is obtained or print information useful when printing a picture represented by the second video signal.
- 10. The method according to claim 7, further including controlling storage of said video signal not containing a detected print inhibit signal in said vertical blanking interval in response to a print command from a print button.
- 11. A printer apparatus comprising:
- a print-inhibit signal detector for detecting a print inhibit signal, superposed in a vertical blanking interval of a video signal which includes a first video signal and a second video signal, wherein the second video signal which represents an image of a subject photographed at a high shutter speed, has been inserted once every plurality of frames of the first video signal, representing the image of the subject photographed at an ordinary shutter speed relatively lower than the high shutter speed and including a print inhibit signal which inhibits printing of an image of the corresponding first video signal, the print inhibit signal being superposed in a vertical blanking interval of the first video signal;
- a memory controller for controlling, based upon the print inhibit signal detected by said print-inhibit signal detector, storage of a further video signal not containing a detected print inhibit signal in a corresponding vertical blanking interval in a memory; and
- a printer for reading the stored video signal out of said memory based upon control performed by said memory controller, and printing an image represented by the read-out video signal.
- 12. The apparatus according to claim 11, further comprising:
- a warning-signal detector for detecting whether a warning signal, indicating the presence of the second video signal, has been superposed in the vertical blanking interval of the first video signal immediately preceding the second video signal; and
- a preparation-signal output device, responsive to the warning signal being detected by said warning-signal detector, for outputting a preparation signal to said memory controller to prepare control by said memory controller, for storage of the second video signal in said memory.
- 13. The apparatus according to claim 11, further comprising printing-condition signal detector for detecting an information signal superposed in the vertical blanking interval of the second video signal, representing photographic information prevailing when the second video signal is obtained or print information useful when printing a picture represented by the second video signal.
- 14. The printer apparatus according to claim 11, wherein said print-inhibit signal detector includes:
- a reading device for reading video signals from a recording medium on which the first video signal and the second video signal have been recorded by recording one frame of the second video signal for every plurality of frames of the first video signal;
- a superposed-signal detector for detecting and outputting a superposed signal, superposed in the vertical blanking interval, from the video signal read by said reading device;
- a superposed-signal output verifying device for verifying whether the superposed signal detected and outputted by said superposed-signal detector ceases periodically; and
- a print-inhibit signal output circuit for outputting, as the print inhibit signal, the superposed signal detected by said superposed-signal detector device when said superposed-signal output verifying device has verified that output of the superposed signal ceases periodically.
- 15. The printer apparatus according to claim 11, wherein said print-inhibit signal detector includes:
- a reading device for reading video signals from a recording medium on which the first video signal and the second video signal have been recorded by recording one frame of the second video signal for every plurality of frames of the first video signal; and
- a superposed-signal detector for detecting and outputting the output inhibit signal, superposed in the vertical blanking interval, from the video signal read by said reading device.
