(a) Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a bamboo container and more particularly, to a wall panel for a basket, which is made of waste bamboo materials.
(b) Description of the Prior Art
Various materials including ceramics, glass, wood, bamboo, plastics, stainless steel, and etc., may be used for king baskets, filing boxes, and other containers. A wooden or bamboo container shows a sense of antique beauty. Small wooden and bamboo containers are widely invited by consumers everywhere for keeping jewels and other precious small personal items. Containers having open spaces in the peripheral wall are the hot items in market.
Regular commercial bamboo containers commonly comprise a frame structure and a plurality of bamboo strips fastened to the frame structure. The bamboo strips may be directly bonded to the frame structure with glue. Alternatively, bamboo strips may be fastened together with wires to form flat bamboo panels that are then fastened to the flame structure at different sides.
The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a wall panel for a basket, which is made of waste bamboo materials. According to one aspect of the present invention, a wall panel for a basket is comprised of a -shaped frame, and a flat bamboo panel fastened to the
-shaped frame. The wall panel is formed of a plurality of annular bamboo stem elements peripherally fastened to one another. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the annular bamboo stem elements each have a plurality of peripheral pins and peripheral pinholes. By engaging one peripheral pin of one annular bamboo stem element into one peripheral pinhole of another annular bamboo stem element, the bamboo stem elements are fastened together, forming the desired flat bamboo panel.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, the annular bamboo stem elements each have a plurality of notches, and wedge blocks are used and engaged into the notches to secure the annular bamboo stem elements to one another.
According to still another embodiment of the present invention, glue is used to bond the annular bamboo stem elements to one another, forming the desired flat bamboo panel.
In general, the invention collects waste annular bamboo stem chips from a bamboo processing work, and then fasten collected waste annular bamboo stem chips to one another peripherally to form flat bamboo panels for making wall panels for basket, filing box, or the like.
