Claims
- 1. A system of wall panels comprising:a connector member comprising a draw block; a pair of wall panels arranged in an end to end configuration and connected to each other with said connector member, wherein said draw block engages each of said wall panels, said wall panels having a gap formed between at least a portion thereof; and a light seal member disposed on said draw block and comprising an upwardly extending leg that spans at least a portion of said gap.
- 2. The system of claim 1 wherein said connector member further comprises a draw rod and a second draw block, said draw blocks engaging said wall panels to connect one wall panel to the other, wherein said draw rod connects said draw blocks.
- 3. The system of claim 1 wherein said light seal comprises a base having a recess, wherein said draw block is received in said recess, and wherein said upwardly extending leg extends upwardly from said base.
- 4. The system of claim 1 wherein said light seal comprises a pair of spaced apart upwardly extending legs.
- 5. The system of claim 1 wherein at least one of said pair of wall panels comprises a top cap, and further comprising a second light seal connected to said top cap, said second light seal comprising a downwardly extending leg cooperating with said upwardly extending leg of said first light seal to span at least a portion of said gap.
- 6. A system of wall panels comprising:a corner post comprising a top; a pair of wall panels connected to said corner post, wherein at least one of said wall panels forms a gap with said corner post; and a light seal member comprising a base portion disposed on said top of said corner post and an arm member extending upwardly from said base portion, said arm member spanning at least a portion of said gap.
- 7. The system of claim 6 wherein said light seal member comprises a plurality of arm members extending upwardly from said base portion.
- 8. The system of claim 6 wherein said arm member includes a flexible flange portion, said flange portion spanning at least a portion of said gap.
- 9. The system of claim 7 wherein said corner post further comprises a cover connected thereto, wherein said gap is defined at least in part between said cover and said wall panel.
- 10. The system of claim 7 wherein said corner post comprises four corners, and wherein said light seal member comprises four arm members extending upwardly from said corner post adjacent said four corners respectively.
- 11. A system of wall panels comprising:a connector member; a pair of wall panels each comprising opposite vertically extending ends, wherein said pair of wall panels are arranged in an end to end configuration and are connected to each other with said connector member, said wall panels having a gap formed between at least a portion thereof; a top cap attached to at least one of said wall panels, said top cap comprising an end defining an opening facing outwardly from one of said ends of said wall panel; a first light seal member comprising an insert portion disposed in said opening in said end of said top cap, said first light seal member spanning at least a portion of said gap formed between said wall panels and a second light seal member disposed on said connector member, said first and second light seal members cooperating to span at least a portion of said gap.
- 12. The system of claim 11 wherein said first light seal member comprises a downwardly extending leg portion that spans at least a portion of said gap.
- 13. The system of claim 11 wherein said connector member comprise a draw block engaging said pair of wall members.
- 14. The system of claim 11 wherein said connector member comprises a corner post having a top end disposed between said pair of wall members, wherein each of said pair of wall members is connected to said corner post, and wherein said second light seal is disposed on said top end of said corner post.
- 15. A system of wall panels comprising:a first connector member; a pair of lower wall panels arranged in an end-to-end configuration with one panel connected to the other with said first connector member; a spanner member connecting an upper portion of each of said pair of lower wall panels; and an upper wall panel connected to said spanner member with a second connector member.
- 16. The system of claim 15 further comprising a second upper wall panel, said second upper wall panel connected to said first upper wall panel and to said spanner member with said second connector member.
- 17. The system of claim 15 wherein said second connector member comprises a draw block engaging said spanner member and said upper wall panel.
- 18. The system of claim 17 wherein said first connector member comprises a draw block engaging said pair of lower wall panels, said first connector member draw block disposed beneath said second connector member draw block.
- 19. The system of claim 18 wherein each of said first and second connector member draw blocks comprise at least one draw surface.
- 20. The system of claim 19 wherein each of said upper and lower wall panels comprise a pair of edges formed along each side thereof, wherein said at least one draw surface of each of said draw blocks engages at least one of said edges of one of said upper and lower wall panels.
- 21. The system of claim 18 wherein said first connector member draw block comprises an upper draw block and wherein said first connector member further comprises a lower draw block engaging said lower wall panels and a draw rod connecting said first connector member upper and lower draw blocks.
- 22. The system of claim 19 wherein said spanner has an opening, wherein said first connector member draw block extends through said opening.
- 23. The system of claim 22 wherein said spanner further comprises a support surface disposed above said opening, wherein said second connector member draw block is supported on said support surface above said first connector member draw block.
- 24. The system of claim 15 wherein said pair of lower wall panels each comprise a horizontally extending channel, wherein said spanner is received in said channels.
- 25. The system of claim 15 wherein said upper wall panel is disposed above one of said pair of lower wall panels, said upper wall panel and said one of said lower wall panels each comprising a vertically extending raceway, wherein said raceway of said upper wall panel is aligned with said raceway of said one of said lower wall panels.
- 26. The system of claim 17 wherein said second connector member draw block comprises a lower draw block, and wherein said second connector member further comprises an upper draw block and a draw rod, said upper draw block engaging said upper wall panel and said draw rod connecting said second connector member upper and lower draw blocks.
- 27. The system of claim 26 wherein said upper wall panel comprises a hanger bracket defining said upper and lower edges.
- 28. The system of claim 15 wherein said spanner comprises an upwardly opening channel.
- 29. The system of claim 28 wherein said channel comprises a bottom wall and pair of side walls, and wherein said spanner has an opening formed in said bottom and extending upwardly into a portion of said side walls so as to form a cut-out defined by a upper edges formed in said side walls, and wherein said second connector member comprises a draw block having a laterally extending portion engaging said upper edges of said cut-out formed in said side walls.
- 30. The system of claim 29 wherein said spanner further comprises a bracket member comprising a support surface disposed beneath said second connector draw block, said bracket member attached to said channel, wherein said support surface is spaced above said opening formed in said bottom wall.
- 31. A system of wall panels comprising:a first and second lower wall panel arranged in an end-to-end configuration, said first wall panel having a greater height than said second wall panel; a first connector member comprising a draw block connecting said first and second lower wall panels; a bracket member mounted to said second wall panel; an upper wall panel disposed above said second lower wall panel; and a second connector member connecting said upper wall panel to said first lower wall panel and to said bracket member, wherein said second connector member comprises a draw block connected to said bracket, wherein said second connector member draw block is disposed above said first connector member draw block.
- 32. The system of claim 31 further comprising a spanner member connecting a top portion of said first lower wall panel and a top portion of said upper wall panel.
- 33. The system of claim 32 further comprising a second upper wall panel mounted above said first lower wall panel and a third connector member connecting said second upper wall panel to said spanner member.
- 34. The system of claim 31 wherein said first connector member further comprises a second draw block connecting said first and second lower wall panels and a draw rod connecting said first connector member draw blocks.
- 35. The system of claim 31 wherein said bracket member comprises a support surface, wherein said second connector member draw block is connected to said support surface.
- 36. The system of claim 31 wherein said bracket member comprises a cantilevered support flange connected to said second connector draw block.
- 37. The system of claim 31 wherein said second connector member further comprises a second draw block engaging said first lower wall panel and said upper wall panel and a draw rod connecting said second connector member draw blocks.
- 38. The system of claim 33 wherein said third connector member comprises a draw block engaging said spanner member and said second upper wall panel.
- 39. The system of claim 38 wherein said third connector member further comprises a second draw block engaging said second upper wall panel and a draw rod connecting said third connector member draw blocks.
- 40. The system of claim 38 wherein said second connector member comprises a draw block connecting an upper portion of said first upper wall panel and said first lower wall panel and wherein said third connector draw block is disposed above said second connector draw block.
- 41. The system of claim 40 wherein said spanner comprises an opening, wherein said second connector member draw block is disposed in said opening.
- 42. The system of claim 31 wherein said second wall panel comprises a horizontally extending channel, wherein said bracket member is disposed in said channel.
- 43. The system of claim 31 wherein each of said first and second connector member draw blocks comprise at least one draw surface.
- 44. The system of claim 43 wherein each of said upper and lower wall panels comprise a pair of edges formed along each side thereof, wherein said at least one draw surface of each of said draw blocks engages at least one of said edges of one of said upper and lower wall panels.
- 45. The system of claim 31 where said upper wall panel and said second lower wall panel each comprise a vertically extending raceway, wherein said raceway of said upper wall panel is aligned with said raceway of said second lower wall panel.
- 46. A system of wall panels comprising:a lower wall panel; an upper wall panel disposed above said lower panel; a bracket member mounted to said lower wall panel; a first connector member having a length approximate the combined height of the lower and upper wall panels; a second connector member connecting said lower wall panel and said first connector member; a third connector member connecting said upper wall panel to said bracket member and to said first connector member.
- 47. The system of claim 46 wherein said first connector member comprises a hanger bracket.
- 48. The system of claim 46 wherein said third connector member comprises a first draw block engaging said first connector member and said upper wall panel, a draw rod and a second draw block engaging said bracket member and said upper wall panel.
- 49. The system of claim 46 wherein said first connector member comprises a corner post.
- 50. The system of claim 46 wherein said first connector member comprises a corner post and a corner post extension mounted to a top of said corner post.
- 51. The system of claim 49 wherein said third connector member further comprises a draw rod, an upper draw block and a lower draw block, wherein said upper draw block connects said upper wall panel and said corner post, said lower draw block connects said bracket and said upper wall panel, and said draw rod connects said third connector member draw blocks.
- 52. The system of claim 50 wherein said corner post extension comprises a plurality of leg portions engaging said corner post.
- 53. The system of claim 50 wherein said corner post has an interior and wherein said plurality of legs are received in said interior.
- 54. The system of claim 47 wherein said second connector member comprises a pair of draw blocks engaging said hanger bracket and said lower wall panel and a draw rod connecting said second connector member draw blocks.
- 55. The system of claim 46 wherein said second connector member comprises a draw block connecting said lower wall panel and said first connector, and wherein said third connector member comprises a draw block connected to said bracket, wherein said third connector member draw block is disposed above said second connector member draw block.
- 56. The system of claim 55 wherein said third connector member further comprises a second draw block connecting said upper wall panel and said first connector member and a draw rod connecting said third connector member draw blocks.
- 57. The system of claim 46 wherein said lower wall panel comprises a horizontally extending channel, wherein said bracket member is disposed in said channel.
- 58. The system of claim 50 further comprising a draw rod connecting said corner post and said corner post extension.
- 59. A system of wall panels comprising:a corner post; at least one wall panel connected to said corner post, said at least one wall panel and said corner post forming a gap between at least a portion of each of said at least one wall panel and said corner post; a light seal member comprising a base portion supported on said corner post and a plurality of spaced apart and upwardly extending arm members, wherein one of said arm members spans at least a portion of the gap formed between said portions of said at least one wall panel and said corner post.
- 60. The system of claim 59 wherein each of said plurality of arm members comprises a flexible flange portion extending laterally from said arm member.
- 61. The system of claim 59 wherein said corner post has four sides and four corners and wherein said plurality of arm members comprises four arm members extending upwardly from said base portion proximate said four corners respectively.
- 62. The system of claim 59 wherein each of said plurality of arm members comprises a pair of substantially perpendicular flange portions.
- 63. A system of wall panels comprising:a connector member; a pair of wall panels each comprising opposite vertically extending ends, wherein said pair of wall panels are arranged in an end to end configuration and are connected to each other with said connector member, said wall panels having a gap formed between at least a portion thereof; a top cap attached to at least one of said wall panels, said top cap comprising an end defining an opening facing outwardly from one of said ends of said wall panel; a light seal member comprising an insert portion disposed in said opening in said end of said top cap, said light seal member spanning at least a portion of said gap formed between said wall panels; and a second top cap attached to said other of said pair of wall panels, said second top cap defining an opening formed in an end thereof opposite said opening in said first top cap, and wherein said light seal member comprises a second insert portion disposed in said opening in said second top cap.
- 64. The system of claim 63 wherein said first and second insert portions are separated by a rib, and wherein the ends of said first and second top caps define a space therebetween, wherein said rib is disposed in said space formed between said first and second top caps.
- 65. The system of claim 63 wherein said light seal member comprises a downwardly extending leg portion that spans at least a portion of said gap.
