CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

The present application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2022-0125450, filed on Sep. 30, 2022, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein for all purposes by this reference.

BACKGROUND
Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to a brush and, more particularly, to a washing brush having a structure of a washing bristle that is configured to improve washing performance.

Description of the Related Art

Generally, a brush used for washing includes a brush head that has washing bristles planted therein and a handle that connects to the head. Alternatively, the head may be configured to serve as a handle.

Here, the washing bristles planted in the head may be made of synthetic resins or metallic materials, and generally configured to form straight bristles. Each of the bristles is also configured to have a required strength with a predetermined thickness.

The washing brush of the related art as described above implements a washing action in which the washing bristles formed as straight bristles contact a washing spot at the straight end parts thereof. In this case, a phenomenon that the washing bristles are laid in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the washing brush occurs in the process of removing foreign substances while rubbing to the left and to the right side against an object to be cleaned using the washing brush.

Therefore, the straight end parts of the washing bristles may not strongly contact the object to be cleaned, and foreign substances may not be effectively removed from the object. Additionally, when grooves, holes, or cracks exist in a washing spot, there may be a problem that it is difficult to effectively clean the wall surfaces of the grooves, holes, and cracks since the end parts of the washing bristles may not effectively contact the wall surfaces of the grooves, holes, and cracks.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DISCLOSURE

In the present disclosure, in order to propose a washing brush that realizes improved washing performance by improving the structure of washing bristles, there is provided a washing brush in which a line of washing bristles is provided on a brush head by planting the washing bristles on the head in a straight line along a length direction of the head with predetermined intervals, and in which an end part of each of the washing bristles is bent outward in a width direction of the head at a certain angle.

Hereinafter, the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6 of the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a view of a washing brush according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, FIG. 2 is a view showing a structure in which an end part of each washing bristle is bent at a right angle according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, FIG. 3 is a view showing a structure in which an end part of each washing bristle is bent at an acute angle according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.

As shown in the drawings, the washing brush according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes a brush head 100 in which washing bristles 220 are planted. The head 100 may be made of wood, synthetic resin, or a metallic material and may be formed with a handle connected to the head at an appropriate location. Such a configuration of the head 100 and the handle is not different from the brush well-known in the related art.

The washing bristles 220 are planted to form a certain pattern in the head 100. A hole with a predetermined depth may be formed in the head 100 in advance at a point where the washing bristles 220 are to be planted in the head 100, and the washing bristles 220 are planted and firmly fixed with an adhesive and the like in the hole. In this way, the planted washing bristles 220 are arranged on the head 100 with predetermined intervals.

The washing bristles 220 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may have a structure in which the end part of each of the washing bristles 220 is bent at a certain angle. The length of the bent part of each washing bristle is determined considering the whole length of each washing bristle 220 and may be within 1 cm. The bent angle of the end part of each washing bristle 220 may be adjusted as needed to form a structure bent at a right angle as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 or a structure bent at an acute angle as shown in FIG. 3.

Meanwhile, the bent angles of the end parts of the washing bristles 220 may be configured differently from each other or some may be configured identically and some may be configured differently.

In the above configuration, the point where the end part of the washing bristle 220 contacts the object is determined depending on the direction and the angle in which the washing bristle 220 is bent. That is, when holding the washing brush and cleaning the object, the end part of the washing bristle scrapes strongly the object if moving toward the direction of the bent end part of the washing bristle 220, and scrapes softly if moving toward the opposite direction even when the washing bristles 220 are pressed down. It is determined considering these circumstances.

The washing bristles 220 are arranged and are planted along the length direction of the head 100. Accordingly, a line of the washing bristles is formed by planting the washing bristles 220 in a straight line. Such a line of washing bristles may be formed into a plurality of the lines of washing bristles in the head 100. In order to expand an area where the washing bristles 220 contact the object it is necessary to plant enough washing bristles 220 in the head 100 such that a plurality of the lines of the washing bristles may be formed.

The lines of the washing bristles as formed above are determined by considering various variables such as the size of the head 100, the thickness of the washing bristle 220, the angle of the bent end part or the length of the washing bristle, the type and the size of the object, and the like.

In a configuration of forming a plurality of the lines of washing bristles, the washing bristles 220 in the same line may have a structure in which the end part of the washing bristle is bent in the same direction. On the other hand, the end part of the washing bristles 220 between different lines of washing bristles may be bent in the same direction or in a different direction. For example, with six lines of the washing bristles, the end parts of the washing bristles 220 may all be bent in the same direction. Alternatively, the end parts of the washing bristles 220 in the left three lines may be bent to the left and the end parts of the washing bristles 220 in the right three lines may be bent to the right. In the latter case, washing performance may be maximized by scraping and removing foreign substances in the process of rubbing the washing brush from side to side against the object when the end parts of the washing bristles 220 in the left three lines scrape with strong pressure while moving to the left as well as when the end parts of the washing bristles 220 in the right three lines scrape with strong pressure while moving to the right.

FIG. 4 is a view showing a structure in which the washing bristles arranged in the same line are alternately bent in opposite directions according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.

In a configuration of forming a plurality of the lines of the washing bristles in the head 100, the directions in which the end parts of the washing bristles 220 are bent may be are oriented in alternate directions. The end parts of the washing bristles 220 may be alternately bent to the left and to the right.

FIG. 5 is a view showing a structure in which the washing bristles form a bristle bundle at each planting spot on a brush head and are bent outward on the head according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.

The washing bristles 220 form a bristle bundle 200 at each planting spot by a predetermined number of washing bristles being planted at each planting spot. A bristle bundle 200 may form by a plurality of the washing bristles 220 being planted at each planting spot. Accordingly, an action of the washing bristles 220 forming a bristle bundle 200 supporting each other is realized, and as a result, the structure helps to wash the object by reinforcing the intensity and applying a strong force.

Here, the washing bristles 220 in the line of the washing bristles along both edges of the width direction of the head 100 may have a structure in which the end part thereof is bent outward on the head 100. Thus, the bristle bundles 200 form the lines of the washing bristles, and the washing bristles 220 have a structure in which the end part thereof is bent outward on the head 100 in each bristle bundle 200.

According to the above configuration, when rubbing the washing bristles 220 against the object using the washing brush while moving the brush to the left and to the right in a state in which a user holds the handle, the washing bristles 220 provided on the left and on the right side of the head 100 may be inserted into and may alternately scrape grooves on the object, thereby removing foreign substances.

FIG. 6 is a view showing a state in which the wall surfaces of grooves or cracks are cleaned by using the washing brush according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.

The washing brush according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may clean flat or curved surfaces. In this process, when the washing brush moves toward the direction in which the end part of the washing bristle 220 is bent, the washing brush strongly scrapes the object and removes foreign substances. For example, when the washing brush moves to the left or to the right in a configuration in which the end part of the washing bristle 220 is bent to the left or to the right, the end part of each of the washing bristles 220 is erected by friction with the surface, thereby removing foreign substances by strongly scraping against the object. Furthermore, when the washing brush according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure moves back and forth, the bent end parts of the washing bristles 220 widely contact the surface of the object 400, thereby removing foreign substances. As a result, foreign substances may be effectively removed through various motions.

In particular, as shown in the drawings, foreign substances may be removed effectively from the object 400 with grooves, holes, or cracks. That is, as the end part of each of the washing bristles 220 is bent at a certain angle, the end part of each of the washing bristles 220 is toward wall surfaces in a state being inserted into grooves, holes, or cracks, and thus the end part of the washing bristle 220 easily contacts the wall surfaces. Accordingly, foreign substances are scraped and removed effectively from surfaces of walls with grooves, holes, or cracks.

Although the present disclosure has been described with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings, this is merely exemplary, and those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and other equivalent embodiments are possible therefrom. Therefore, the true technical protection scope of the present disclosure should be determined by the technical spirit of the appended claims.
