The present disclosure relates to a handy washing machine, and more particularly, to a handy washing machine having a mechanism that facilitates cloth washing in a bucket.
At present, when we have a very limited portable choices available for the washing machine, this invention will help people to have an alternative way, which may be a very convenient, cost-effective and eco-friendly way to wash their clothes. This invention may be helpful in various situations to a various group of individuals. The month-end invoices of utility bills and a retail price for domestic electrical appliances play useful role in adopting a new appliance. This invention may give them a better availability for their laundry requirements and may bring down their domestic expenses.
A handy washing machine is a device that washes clothes using electricity, this invention may include a main body forming an exterior with an ergonomically designed handle at top to carry or transport it around and may have a rotation disk called splatter at the front lower end which initiate the washing cycle by giving a circular motion to water. From an internal mechanism standpoint, a driving motor behind the casing cover drives a small pulley that is directly connected with a shaft and also a big pulley via belt. A big pulley then linked with another shaft as well as bearing or small pulley to rotate the second belt in order to drive shaft connected with an exterior splatter or rotating disk. In this assembly, a motor may be positioned at the top of the body in a motor chassis or Receptacle and is attached to pulleys with shafts. As a motor starts rotating, it passes rotational motion from one pulley to another by using a belt and further to the third pulley which is connected to the splatter, then a splatter or ration disk starts rotating.
This device may be placed inside a bucket or similar container with three fourth of water inside and device is locked securely with a bucket. After turning power switch on, the rotation wheel may rotate between 5500-6000 RPM in order to circulate the laundry load. This invention uses repeated rotating cycles in order to wash the fabrics. Pressure of water is used to remove dirt from pores of clothes.
A device may have an automatic version which disconnect power after every five minutes for the better motor life. A device may also have a regular version which does not disconnect power automatically and may require manual intervention to turn off the device.
However, washing ingrained dirt or partial stains on the clothes are difficult using the above washing processes of the handy washing machine in this case, washing using the handy washing machine should be performed after a hand-washing or a separate washing outside of the handy washing machine. Also, additional wash water is required for this.
When hand-washing or separate washing is performed within the bucket where handy washing machine secured, a separate washing place is not required, and wash water which was used in the hand-washing or separate washing can be reused in a washing process of the handy washing machine, thereby saving wash water.
A pressure of water is used against the tumbling clothes to attack and remove dirt from the pores from the Fabric. Features of this invention: An Invention is portable and light weight. It consumes low power, compatible with any temperature of water ranging from hot to cold, waterproof, saving water, energy & time.
A user will unwind the power cord and a plug in order to connect to a wall socket to power on the device, user will add soiled clothes along with detergent and water into a bucket to begin the washing cycle. Once power will be supplied, a rotation disk or splatter performs rotation to clean the soiled clothes. Fill three fourth of a bucket with hot, warm or cold water. Clamp the machine top surface from outside of the bucket and turn it on. Add a detergent in water. Add soiled clothes up to 75-80% of a bucket size and leave rest of the bucket empty. In 5-20 minutes, the handy washing machine completes the wash cycle and the clothes are ready to rinse & dry. A handy washing machine will be useful for an individual who doesn't have access to a conventional washer and dryer. It is portable enough for storage and may well be used at household level.
It may be useful for the travelers to keep their travel budget in check. This device operates well with cold, warm and hot temperature of water. A user will have to drain soiled water after a first wash and replace the load with fresh water in order to complete the washing cycle specifically “rinsing cycle”. This device may not be designed for the spinning and drying cycle for the clothes.
