Claims
- 1. An ink for ink-jet recording comprising:
water; a coloring agent; a water-soluble organic solvent; and at least one of a benzotriazole-based metal-inactivating agent and alkanolamine so that the total amount of the benzotriazole-based metal-inactivating agent and the alkanolamine is from 0.1% to 0.4% by weight of the weight of the ink.
- 2. The ink according to claim 1, wherein the benzotriazole-based metal-inactivating agent is one selected from the group consisting of 1,2,3-benzotriazole, 1,2,3-benzotriazole sodium salt, methyl-1H-benzotriazole, and methyl-1H-benzotriazoleamine salt.
- 3. The ink according to claim 1, wherein the alkanolamine is triethanolamine or diethanolamine.
- 4. The ink according to claim 1, wherein the ink contains the benzotriazole-based metal-inactivating agent and the alkanolamine.
- 5. The ink according to claim 1, further comprising glycerol.
