Claims
- 1. Welding device for replacement of a heating rod (4) of a pressurizer of a pressurized-water nuclear reactor, said heating rod being introduced and fixed by welding in a collar (3) which is solid with a casing (1) of said pressurizer at the location of a passage opening of said casing (1), the replacement process consisting in sectioning said collar (3) above a connecting weld of said heating rod (4), extracting said heating rod (4), positioning a replacement heating rod (4), fixing this rod in a temporary manner on said collar (3), and forming a continuous annular junction weld between said heating rod (4) and said collar (3), said device comprising
- (a) a shaft (18) comprising means for connection to an end part of said heating rod (4) projecting in relation to said collar (3);
- (b) a tubular support (14) engageable on said shaft (18) and equipped with means (30, 35) for fixing and clamping on said shaft and comprising a moveable part mounted on said fixed part for rotation about an axis (20) of said heating rod (4) and of said collar (3);
- (c) a welding gun (10) carried by said moveable part of said support (14);
- (d) drive means (16, 22) for driving in rotation said moveable part of said support (14) in relation to said fixed part; and
- (e) a supply assembly comprising a device rotatably mounted on a fixed support (41), for unwinding welding wire about the axis (20) of said heating rod (4) and of said collar (3).
- 2. Device according to claim 1, wherein said means (30, 35) for fixing said fixed part of said support (14) on said shaft (18) are constituted by a tubular clip (35) comprising longitudinal slots (35a) and end parts having a frustoconical internal surface and by a nut (30) comprising a threaded part engaged on a threaded part (18a) of said shaft (18), in order to effect diametral expansion of said clip (35) and fixing of said support (14) by screwing of said nut (30).
- 3. Device according to claim 2, wherein a first one of said internal frustoconical bearing surfaces (35b) of said tubular clip (35) engages a furstoconical surface (36) of said shaft (18), and a second one of said frustoconical bearing surfaces (35'b) engages a furstoconical end part (37) of said nut (30).
- 4. Device according to claim 1, wherein said end of said rod (4) comprises a threaded part (4a), and said shaft (18) comprises a threaded end part engaging said threaded part (4a) of said rod (4), for fixing thereof by screwing.
- 5. Device according to claim 4, wherein said shaft (18) further comprises radial pins (29) for engagement of a tightening tool in the form of a tubular shell comprising notches engaging on projecting ends of said pins (29).
- 6. Device according to claim 2, wherein said shaft (18) and said nut (30) comprise passages for cooling water (32, 33, 25) in the extension of one another, opening into a cavity (26) at the upper part of said shaft (18), a closure plug (28) of said cavity (26) being intercalated between an internal part (27) of said shaft (18) and an end of said heating rod (4).
- 7. Device according to claim 1, wherein said means for driving in rotation the moveable part of said support (14) of said welding gun (10) is constituted by a motor (16) carried by the moveable part of said support (14), the shaft of said support carries a pinion (23) engaging with a toothed wheel solid with the fixed part of said support (14) fixed on said shaft (18), in such a manner that said pinion (23) and said moveable part of said support (14) are displaced in an orbital movement about said axis (20) of said heating rod (4) and of said collar (3).
- 8. Device according to claim 1, wherein said device for unwinding welding wire (51) is mounted within a supply cabinet (6) carried by a base (46) mounted for rotation about a vertical axis (50) on a fixed support (41).
- 9. Device according to claim 8, wherein said base (46) is rotatably mounted on a thrust ball bearing (47) and solid with a shaft (48) driven in rotation by a motor reduction gear (43, 44), for synchronous displacement in rotation of said base (46) of said cabinet (6) and of said unwinding device (51), in relation to the displacement in rotation of said welding torch (5).
- 10. Device according to claim 1, comprising hydraulic jacks for adjusting the height of said fixed support (41).
- 11. Device according to claim 1, wherein said unwinding device (51) is constituted by a reel connected to a rotary drive motor on which said welding wire (52) is wound.
