Claims
- 1. A mechanism for applying a wet solution to a wetting system of an offset printing machine, comprising:
- a main tank containing the solution;
- an outlet line having a first end and a second end, said first end of said outlet line is connected to said main tank;
- a reservoir housed inside said main tank, said reservoir having walls and being disposed to receive the second end of said outlet line;
- a first pump for propelling the solution through said outlet line from said main tank to said reservoir;
- a nozzle connected to the second end of said outlet line and disposed so that the solution exits therefrom in a jet against the walls of said reservoir, the jet of solution sprayed out from said nozzle produces a turbulence that allows adsorption of oxygen by the solution;
- a feed line having a mouth, said feed line being connected between said reservoir and the wetting system of the offset printing machine for supplying the solution from said reservoir to the wetting system of the offset printing machine; and
- a return line connected between said main tank and the wetting system of the offset printing machine for returning the solution from the wetting system of the offset printing machine to said main tank.
- 2. A mechanism in accordance with claim 1, wherein adsorption of oxygen by the solution is effected in the reservoir.
- 3. A mechanism in accordance with claim 2, wherein said reservoir further comprises a side overflow for determining a level of the solution subject to adsorption of oxygen and contained in said reservoir.
- 4. A mechanism in accordance with claim 3, further comprising a second pump for propelling the solution from said reservoir to the wetting system of the offset printing machine.
- 5. A mechanism in accordance with claim 4, wherein the mouth of said feed line is disposed inside said reservoir below a surface of the determined level so as to collect the solution in said reservoir having a maximum oxygen content.
