The present disclosure relates to a self-assembly toy or a connection member of a self-assembly toy coupled to other block toys to create various shapes, and achieving learning effect and play.
As toys for intellectual development of toddlers or children, self-assembly block toy sets including a plurality of blocks of various shapes that may be assembled to make any type of artifact are being widely used. Such a self-assembly block toy set allows a child to assemble an artifact of various shapes according to imagination, and may be repeatedly used, that is, disassembling the artifact and making another type of artifact, and the self-assembly block toy set helps brain activity and intellectual development of children by stimulating creativity and imaginative power of children. Blocks mostly have a connection member. The connection member may have various shapes according to an engaging structure or an assembling location.
In addition, connection members are provided in various shapes, and thus, children may assemble the blocks in various shapes or may assemble toys delicately. Toys of various shapes may be manufactured according to how to use which kinds of connection members, and imaginary power of the children may be improved.
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an assembly toy is able to creatively generate various shapes by coupling to other block toys.
As an embodiment of the present disclosure, a wheel-shaped self-assembly connection member includes: a wheel of a circular shape, and having an internal space that is partitioned into a plurality of fan-like shapes; a protruding circular connector of a cylindrical shape protruding from a center axis of the wheel in a direction to perform as a driving axis, the cylindrical shape having a female void performing as a connector; and circular connectors located in the fan-like shapes in directions of 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock in the wheel, each of the circular connectors having a center void performing as a connector.
According to the present disclosure, various shapes that are movable may be created through coupling between block toys including a motor.
According to the present disclosure, children may assembly blocks in various shapes by coupling block toys of various shapes and may fabricate toys delicately.
As an embodiment of the present disclosure, a wheel-shaped self-assembly connection member includes: a wheel of a circular shape, and having an internal space that is partitioned into a plurality of fan-like shapes; a protruding circular connector of a cylindrical shape protruding from a center axis of the wheel in a direction to perform as a driving axis, the cylindrical shape having a female void performing as a connector; and circular connectors located in the fan-like shapes in directions of 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock in the wheel, each of the circular connectors having a center void performing as a connector.

The protruding circular connector 120 protrudes from a center portion of the wheel 104 in a direction to perform as a driving axis, and may be connected to a block toy, a motor, etc. The protruding circular connector 120 includes triangular protrusions 122 surrounding an upper portion thereof, to improve a coupling force of the assembling so that detaching may not easily occur when coupling to the block toy, the motor, etc. When the protruding circular connector 120 rotates, the wheel 104 moves along the rotating direction.

The wheel 104 of a circular shape includes the protruding circular connector 120 at a center portion thereof, and an internal space of the wheel 104 is partitioned into twelve spaces S110 that have fan-like shapes. An external portion 102 includes a rubber material to be easily moved. The circular connectors 110, 112, 114, and 116 are respectively provided in the wheel in directions of 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 12 o'clock.

The extended driving axis connection member 200 includes a first circular connector 212, an outer body 210, an internal insertion member 220, and a second circular connector 222.
The first circular connector 212 is provided at an end of the outer body 210. A male connector is formed on a circular surface of the first circular connector 212. The first circular connector 212 is provided at an end of the outer body 210 and the internal insertion member 220 is inserted to the other end of the outer body 210, and the outer body 210 has an empty space therein so that the internal insertion member 220 may be inserted thereto.
The internal insertion member 220 has the second circular connector 222 at an end thereof. A male connector 224 is provided at a circular surface of the second circular connector 222. An opposite end of the internal insertion member 220 is inserted into the empty space of the outer body 210.
The two wheel-shaped self-assembly connection members 100a and 100b may move in a direction of increasing the distance between the two wheel-shaped self-assembly connection members 100a and 100b from a fixed minimum distance. In this case, the fixed minimum distance between the two wheel-shaped self-assembly connection members 100a and 100b corresponds to a length of the extended driving axis connection member 200, in which the internal insertion member 220 is completely inserted. Also, a maximum extended distance between the two wheel-shaped self-assembly connection members 100a and 100b corresponds to a length of the extended driving axis connection member 200, from which the internal insertion member 220 is extended to the maximum.
The shrink-type driving axis connection member 300 has a fixed type circular connector 310 at an end thereof and a belt type driving axis 320 having a fixed length, and also includes a movable circular connector 333 that may move in the belt type driving axis 320 having the fixed length. The belt type driving axis 320 may rotate 360 degrees in a clockwise direction or a counter-clockwise direction based on the movable circular connector 333.
The fixed type circular connector 310 and the movable circular connector 320 are formed as male connectors 312 and 332 each having protrusions at ends thereof in directions of north, south, east, and west.
The movable circular connector 333 is inserted in the belt type driving axis 320 having the fixed length. The movable circular connector 320 may easily move within the belt type driving axis 320 without any concern of escaping from the belt type driving axis 320, due to a circular hooking step 334 on an upper side and a circular hooking step 333 on a lower side. Also, the male connector 332 having protrusions at the end thereof in the directions of north, south, east, and west is provided at a center portion of the circular hooking step 333 on the lower side.
In other words, the two wheel-shaped self-assembly connection members 100a and 100b has a fixed maximum distance therebetween. In addition, the two wheel-shaped self-assembly connection members 100a and 100b may be moved in a direction of reducing the distance therebetween according to the movement of the movable circular connector 320.
