Claims
- 1. A mailer product including a series of connected, stuffed, sealed envelope assemblies comprising first and second separate elongated webs, a plurality of equally spaced, aligned, transverse lines of weakening in said webs with each pair of adjacent transverse lines defining an envelope assembly therebetween, each said envelope assembly thereby having separate front and back generally rectangular outer plies and at least one additional web forming an inside ply, each of said plies having a pair of longitudinally extending edges and a pair of transverse edges perpendicular to said longitudinal edges, said outer plies each having inner and outer surfaces and being adhesively united about the perimeter thereof, one of the outer plies being provided with a window opening, said window opening ply being covered on its inner surface with a see-through covering material at least translucent and having a length up to that of said inside ply and having one transverse edge generally aligned with one of the transverse edges of said inside ply.
- 2. The mailer product of claim 1 in which said covering material is transparent.
- 3. The mailer product of claim 1 in which the length of said covering material in each envelope assembly is equal to that of said inside ply.
- 4. The mailer product of claim 1 in which said covering material in each envelope assembly has a length shorter than that of said inside ply.
- 5. The mailer product of claim 1 in which said covering material in each envelope assembly has a width narrower than the width of said inside ply.
- 6. The mailer product of claim 1 in which adhesive is interposed between said inner surface of said covering material and said back outer ply along one longitudinally extending edge of said covering material.
- 7. The mailer product of claim 1 in which adhesive is interposed between said window opening ply and said material in each envelope assembly.
- 8. The mailer product of claim 7 in which said adhesive extends generally perimetrically around said opening in each envelope assembly.
- 9. A mailer product comprising a series of connected, stuffed, sealed envelope assemblies including first and second separate elongated webs forming envelope assembly outer plies, a plurality of equally spaced, aligned, transverse lines of weakening in said outer plies with each pair of adjacent transverse lines defining an envelope assembly therebetween, each said envelope assembly thereby having two separate outer plies of generally rectangular configuration adhesively united about the perimeter thereof and at least one inside ply, each of said plies having a pair of longitudinally extending edges and a pair of transverse edges perpendicular to said longitudinal edges, a window opening in one of said outer plies, recipient indicia on said inside ply aligned with said window opening, and a covering ply for said opening adhesively secured to the interior of said one outer ply, said covering ply having one of the transverse edges generally aligned with a transverse edge of said inside ply, said covering ply permitting ascertainment of said recipient indicia when said envelope is sealed.
- 10. The mailer product of claim 9 in which each of said outer and inside plies have two opposed pairs of edges, said inside ply having at least one pair of edges closer together than the corresponding edges of said outer pair.
