Claims
- 1. A wire drawing machine comprising:
a draw die; a capstan mounted for rotation about a horizontal axis and positioned for drawing wire through the draw die, the capstan having an upper wire-entry side and a lower wire-exit side; and a roller connected for pivoting about a horizontal axis parallel to the axis of the capstan and about a second axis orthogonal thereto for engaging wire on the lower exit side of the capstan, the roller being sized to substantially overlap the width of the capstan and engage the wire wrapped thereon.
