Claims
- 1. A system for preventing the unauthorized use of a power tool having an internal combustion engine comprising an ignition system including a multi-element electronic controlling circuit for providing a spark to said engine, a receiving socket comprising a threaded hole in the body of said power tool and open externally of said body, and a removable plug comprising a threaded bolt insertable in said receiving socket, said electronic circuit having its component electronic elements divided into two portions, one of said portions being located in said body and in circuit connection with said receiving socket, the other of said portions being insulating by embedded in said plug, said receiving socket and said plug being provided with mating screw threads and having cooperating contacts, said contacts being located so that complete screwing of said plug into said receiving socket is required to operatively connect the portions of said electronic control circuit.
