Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a woven textile, and more particularly to a woven textile for a bag and the bag.

Description of the Prior Art

Generally, handbags or bags are mostly made of leather or plastic. To provide more variety for bags, some bags are woven, and this type of bags can be seen in both masstige brands and high-end luxury brands.

A woven bag may be formed in following ways: integrally woven, with at least a circumferential panel of the woven bag integrally woven, or with two ends of a panel sewed after the panel is woven. It is difficult and time-consuming to manufacture the woven bag, and since the woven bags are in different shapes and sizes, the setting of a weaving machine needs to be changed according to the shapes and sizes; that is, each type of the woven bags has to be manufactured in its unique way.

In addition, regarding a handle of a woven bag, it is usually made by connecting a ready-made handle to a bag body directly, and the handle may fall off. Besides, since the handle is not made with the same material as the bag body, the look of the whole bag may be uncoordinated.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The major object of the present invention is to provide a woven textile for a bag and the bag, and the woven textile can be connected in different ways to form the bag in different shapes or sizes.

To achieve the above and other objects, a woven textile for a bag is provided, including a main body, the main body includes a woven portion and at least one braided portion, the main body defines a lateral direction and a longitudinal direction which is perpendicular to the lateral direction, the woven portion at least includes a plurality of longitudinal threads and at least is woven by the plurality of longitudinal threads, the plurality of longitudinal threads are arranged along the lateral direction, each said longitudinal thread extends along the longitudinal direction, two ends of the woven portion on the longitudinal direction are respectively a first end and a second end, and at least one said longitudinal thread extends from the first end and the second end away from the woven portion to be braided to form the at least one braided portion.

To achieve the above and other objects, a bag is further provided, including a plurality of bag components, the plurality of bag components are integrated to define a storage space, at least one said bag component is the woven textile for the bag, and the main body is connected to another said bag component with at least one part of the plurality of braided portions.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment(s) in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a stereogram of the present invention; and

FIG. 2 is a partially-enlarged view of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

Please refer to FIGS. 1 and 2, a woven textile for a bag is provided, including a main body 10, the main body 10 includes a woven portion 11 and at least one braided portion 12, the main body 10 defines a lateral direction and a longitudinal direction which is perpendicular to the lateral direction, the woven portion 11 at least includes a plurality of longitudinal threads 13 and at least is woven by the plurality of longitudinal threads 13 (each said longitudinal thread may include one filament or multiple filaments, for example, the multiple filaments may extend altogether or be woven first to form the longitudinal thread), the plurality of longitudinal threads 13 are arranged along the lateral direction, each said longitudinal thread 13 extends along the longitudinal direction, two ends of the woven portion 11 on the longitudinal direction are respectively a first end and a second end, and at least one said longitudinal thread 13 extends from the first end and the second end away from the woven portion 11 to be braided to form the at least one braided portion 12.

In this embodiment, the woven portion 11 is woven by the plurality of longitudinal threads 13; that is, the longitudinal threads 13 which are neighboring to each other are entwined to form the woven portion 11. The main body 10 includes the plurality of braided portions 12, and the plurality of longitudinal threads 13 extend from the first end and the second end away from the woven portion 11 to be braided to form the at least one braided portion 12.

In other possible embodiments, the woven portion 11 may be woven by the plurality of longitudinal threads and a plurality of lateral threads. In other words, the weaving method and the structure of the woven portion are not limited.

In addition, in this embodiment, two ends of each said longitudinal thread 13 respectively extend to form one said braided portion 12; that is, a number of the braided portion 12 is twice a number of the longitudinal thread 13. However, in other possible embodiments, each said braided portion 12 is woven by the plurality of longitudinal threads 13, so the number of the braided portion 12 is smaller than twice the number of the longitudinal thread 13.

A bag 100 is further provided, including a plurality of bag components, the plurality of bag components are integrated to define a storage space, at least one said bag component is the woven textile for the bag, and the main bodies 10 of the plurality of said woven textiles for the bag are connected to each other with at least part of the plurality of braided portions 12. Preferably, the plurality of said woven textiles for the bag at least form a front panel and a back panel of the bag 100, and the front panel and the back panel are connected to each other at two sides of respective ones of the front panel and the back panel with at least part of the plurality of braided portions 12, to form two side portions of the bag 100.

At least one said braided portion 12 forms a handle 14, more particularly, two opposite ends of the plurality of lateral threads may also respectively extend outwardly and be braided to form the plurality of braided portions 12, and the handle may be formed by the braided portion which are made by the plurality of lateral threads.

In other possible embodiments, the woven portion of the main body can integrally form the front panel, the back panel and a bottom portion of the bag, the plurality of braided portions are just on an opening of the bag, and the handle can be formed by connecting the plurality of braided portions on the two sides to each other.

When being used, the shape, size, and types of handle of the bag can be adjusted by cutting the braided portion of the main body, so compared with a handbag which is integrally woven, it is convenient and cost-saving to manufacture the main body. The woven textile for the bag can be used on other parts of the bag, and the plurality of woven textile for the bag can be connected in different ways to form the bags in different shapes and sizes.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
