The present invention relates to a woven textile.
A conventional woven textile, such as disclosed in Taiwan patent number M455021, M445027 or Taiwan application number 200922780, is woven by threads which are crisscrossed with one another. The conventional woven textile must be woven tightly or it will come unstitched or deform, which can result in too small gaps between the threads and poor gas permeability.
Moreover, structure of the conventional woven textile is too tight and poor in elasticity and extensibility. For example, when the conventional woven textile is used as a vamp or things that require a larger stretching space, the vamp may be too tight and result in poor comfortability.
The present invention is, therefore, arisen to obviate or at least mitigate the above-mentioned disadvantages.
The main object of the present invention is to provide a woven textile and method for making the same, and the woven textile is easy to weave and has stable structure, good extensibility and gas permeability.
To achieve the above and other objects, the present invention provides a woven textile. The woven textile defines a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction relative to the longitudinal direction. The woven textile includes a plurality of lateral threads and a plurality of longitudinal threads, and each of the plurality of lateral threads winds back in the lateral direction to form a lateral space. The plurality of longitudinal threads are respectively disposed through the lateral space and wind back in the longitudinal direction to form a plurality of first eyelets, and the plurality of longitudinal threads then shift in the lateral direction, extend through respective ones of the plurality of first eyelets and wind back in the longitudinal direction to form a plurality of second eyelets.
To achieve the above and other objects, the present invention provides a woven textile, including following steps: (a) the plurality of longitudinal threads respectively winding back in the longitudinal direction to form the plurality of first eyelets; (b) each of the plurality of lateral threads winding back in the lateral direction to form a lateral space, wherein the plurality of first eyelets are respectively disposed through the lateral space; (c) the plurality of longitudinal threads shifting in the lateral direction and extending through respective ones of the plurality of first eyelets and winding back in the longitudinal direction to form the plurality of second eyelets.
The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment(s) in accordance with the present invention.

Preferably, at least one of the plurality of lateral threads 10 traverses across at least two adjacent ones of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 in the lateral direction D2, which can increase weave stability. However, at least one of the plurality of lateral threads 10 may traverse across only one or more than two of the longitudinal threads 20. Each of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 winds back in the longitudinal direction D1 and is non-interlaced itself to form the first eyelets 21, and each of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 winds back in the longitudinal direction D1 and is interlaced itself to form the second eyelets 22. Each of the plurality of lateral threads 10 is woven between one said first eyelets 21 of one of adjacent two of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 and one said second eyelets 22 of the other of the adjacent two of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20, which can increase weave stability.
Selectively, a large number of the lateral threads 10 and a large number of the longitudinal threads 20 may be used; the plurality of lateral threads 10 and the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 include at least two colors (as shown in
The present invention further provides a method for making the woven textile 1, including following steps:
(a) the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 respectively winding back in the longitudinal direction D1 to form the plurality of first eyelets 21;
(b) each of the plurality of lateral threads 10 winding back in the lateral direction D2 to form a lateral space, wherein the plurality of first eyelets 21 are respectively disposed through the lateral space;
(c) the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 shifting in the lateral direction D2 and extending through respective ones of the plurality of first eyelets 21 and winding back in the longitudinal direction D1 to form the plurality of second eyelets 22.
The method may further include a step (d): the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 shifting reversedly in the lateral direction D2 and extending through respective ones of the second eyelets 22 in the longitudinal direction D1 so as to form the first eyelets 21 as that in the step (a). Specifically, each of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 winds back in the longitudinal direction D1 and is interlaced itself to form the second eyelets 22, which can strengthen the bondage of the first eyelets 21 and increase weave stability. A span of reverse shifting of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 may be the same as or different from a span of shifting of the plurality of longitudinal threads 20 in the step (c).
According to various requirements such as a number, colors, diametric dimensions, meshes or their combination of the longitudinal threads or/and the lateral threads, the woven textile with desired dimension and pattern is available by repeating the steps described above.
Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
