Claims
- 1. A wrap heater comprising:(a) a first heating sleeve comprising: (i) a first electrically conductive heating grid; (ii) a first thermostat; and (iii) a first cover for enclosing said first electrically conductive heating grid and said first thermostat; (b) a second heating sleeve comprising: (i) a second electrically conductive heating grid; (ii) a second thermostat; and (iii) a second cover enclosing said second conductive heating grid and said second thermostat; (c) an extension for separating said first heating sleeve and said second heating sleeve; and (d) said first and second electrically conductive heating grids are constructed for being placed in electrical communication with a power supply.
- 2. A wrap heater according to claim 1, wherein the first heating sleeve further comprises a first stiffening layer for providing rigidity, and the second heating sleeve comprises a second stiffening layer for providing rigidity.
- 3. A wrap heater according to claim 1, wherein the first thermostat is provided between the first electrically conductive heating grid and the first stiffening layer, and the second thermostat is provided between the second electrically conductive heating grid and the second stiffening layer.
- 4. A wrap heater according to claim 1, further comprising a plug for insertion into an outlet for providing said electrical communication.
- 5. A wrap heater according to claim 4, wherein said plug is constructed of insertion into a cigarette lighter in an automobile.
- 6. A wrap heater according to claim 1, further comprising a plug for insertion into an alternating current outlet.
- 7. A wrap heater according to claim 1, wherein the first electrically conductive heating grid and the second electrically conductive heating grid provide different levels of heating.
- 8. A wrap heater according to claim 1, wherein the extension is constructed so that the first sleeve and the second sleeve heat opposed sides of an article to be heated.
- 9. A wrap heater according to claim 1, further comprising wires for providing electrical connectivity between the first electrically conducted heating grid and the power supply, and between the second electrically conductive heating grid and the power supply, and wherein at least a portion of the wires being provided within the extension.
- 10. A wrap heater according to claim 1, wherein the first sleeve comprises risers for elevating a food product to be heated by the wrap heater to provide a spacing that allows for air circulation between the food product and the first sleeve.
- 11. A method for heating food product in a delivery bag, the method comprising steps of:providing a wrap heater in a food delivery bag, the wrap heater comprising: (a) a first heating sleeve comprising: (ii) a first electrically conductive heating grid; (ii) a first thermostat; and (iii) a first cover for enclosing said first electrically conductive heating grid and said first thermostat; (b) a second heating sleeve comprising: (i) a second electrically conductive heating grid; (ii) a second thermostat; and (iii) a second cover enclosing said second conductive heating grid and said second thermostat; (c) an extension for separating said first heating sleeve and said second heating sleeve; and (d) said first and second electrically conductive heating grids are constructed for being placed in electrical communication with a power supply; heating the first electrically conductive heating grid and the second electrically conductive heating grid; and providing food product within the food delivery bag.
- 12. A method for heating food product in a delivery bag according to claim 11, wherein the first heating sleeve comprises a first stiffening layer for providing rigidity, and the second heating sleeve comprises a second stiffening layer for providing rigidity.
- 13. A method for heating food product in a delivery bag according to claim 12, wherein the first thermostat is provided between the first electrically conducted heating grid and the first stiffening layer, and the second thermostat is provided between the second electrically conductive heating grid and the second stiffening layer.
- 14. A method for heating food product in a delivery bag according to claim 11, wherein the extension is constructed so that the first sleeve and the second sleeve heat opposed sides of the food product.
- 15. A method for heating food product in a delivery bag according to claim 11, wherein the first sleeve comprises risers for elevating the food product to be heated to provide a spacing that allows for air circulation between the food product and the first sleeve.
- 16. A method for heating food product in a delivery bag according to claim 11, wherein the first heating sleeve and the second heating sleeve heat different surfaces of the food product.
- 17. A method for heating food product in a delivery bag according to claim 11, wherein the food product comprises pizza.
- 18. A method for heating food in a delivery bag according to claim 17, further comprising providing the pizza with sauce having a temperature of about 155° F. 30 minutes after removal of the pizza from an oven.
