- 16. A combination according to claim 2 wherein said wrapper blank is folded along the centerlines of said pair of longitudinal edge protector strips to provide an overlap of the longitudinal margins of said wrapper sheet, means to bond said overlap of one longitudinal margin portion to the other longitudinal margin portion, and means to bond the overlapped transverse margin portions together at one end of said wrapper sheet to form said wrapper blank into a battery plate pouch.
- 17. A combination according to claim 16 including a transverse strip of tape of tough, flexible, thermally fusible sheet material secured along the transverse margin at said one end of said wrapper sheet on the face of the sheet which is folded upon itself, said bond of the overlapped transverse margin portion including material of said transverse strip.
