Claims
- 1. A wrapping method comprising the steps of:
- providing a preformed flower pot cover of unitary construction comprising at least a seamless base having an open upper end, a closed lower end, an inner periphery having a retaining space therein and an outer periphery, the flower pot cover forming a wrapping;
- providing an extension having a design indicia thereon;
- providing a pot having an upper end, a lower end and an outer peripheral surface;
- disposing the pot into the open upper end of the preformed flower pot cover such that the outer peripheral surface of the pot is adjacent at least a portion of the inner periphery of the flower pot cover;
- positioning the extension such that the extension extends a distance away from the wrapping, thereby effectively displaying the design indicia on the extension; and
- connecting the extension to the wrapping.
- 2. A wrapping method, comprising the steps of:
- providing a sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface and an outer periphery, the sheet of material being preformed into a flower pot cover comprising at least a base having an open upper end, a lower end, an inner periphery having a retaining space therein and an outer periphery;
- providing an extension having a design indicia thereon, the extension having an upper surface, a lower surface, and an outer periphery;
- providing a pot having an upper end, a lower end and an outer peripheral surface;
- disposing the extension on at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the pot;
- positioning the extension on the pot such that the extension extends a distance away from the pot, thereby effectively displaying the design indicia on the extension;
- connecting the extension to the pot; and
- disposing the pot into the open upper end of the preformed flower pot cover such that at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the pot is adjacent at least a portion of the inner periphery of the flower pot cover; and
- positioning the flower pot cover such that the extension extends a distance away from the flower pot cover.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein in the step of providing an extension, the extension is further defined as sized smaller than an outer diameter of a pot.
- 4. The method of claim 2 wherein in the step of providing an extension, the extension further comprises a bonding material.
- 5. The method of claim 2 wherein in the step of providing an extension, the extension further comprises a balloon portion.
- 6. A wrapping method, comprising the steps of:
- providing a preformed flower pot cover of unitary construction comprising at least a seamless base having an open upper end, a closed lower end, an inner periphery having a retaining space therein and an outer periphery, the flower pot cover forming a wrapping;
- providing an extension having a design indicia thereon, the extension having an upper surface, a lower surface, and an outer periphery;
- providing a pot having an upper end, a lower end and an outer peripheral surface;
- disposing the extension on the flower pot cover;
- positioning the extension such that the extension extends a distance away from the wrapping, thereby effectively displaying the design indicia on the extension;
- connecting the extension to the flower pot cover; and
- disposing the pot into the open upper end of the flower pot cover, the outer peripheral surface of the pot adjacent the inner peripheral surface of the flower pot cover, whereby the flower pot cover surrounds and encompasses at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the pot, the flower pot cover thereby forming a wrapping about the pot.
