Claims
- 1. A wrapping material for wrapping an object, comprising:
a cruciform shaped piece of wrapping material with a center portion; a first and second portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material extending away from the center portion; and a third and fourth portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material extending away from the center portion and perpendicular to the first and second portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material.
- 2. The wrapping material of claim 1 wherein the first and second portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material and the third and fourth portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material are of equal or different widths.
- 3. The wrapping material of claim 1 wherein the first and second portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material and the third and fourth portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material are of equal or different lengths.
- 4. The wrapping material of claim 1 wherein said wrapping material is fabricated from a flexible material.
- 5. The wrapping material of claim 4 wherein said flexible material is selected from the group consisting of metallized film, cloth, plastic, foil and paper.
- 6. A wrapping material of predetermined dimensions for wrapping a particularly sized object, the wrapping material comprising:
a first, generally square portion of a wrapping material having four sides, said wrapping material selected from the group consisting of metallized film, cloth, plastic, foil and paper; two lateral wings extending from two opposed sides of said first generally square portion, said two lateral wings sized together with said first generally square portion sized to cover said particularly sized object in a first dimension; and two longitudinal wings extending from two opposed sides of said first generally square portion, said two longitudinal wings sized together with said first generally square portion to cover said particularly sized object in a second dimension.
- 7. The wrapping material of claim 6 wherein said predetermined dimensions include a center sheet of 5½″×5″, a width of the latitudinal axes of 5″, a width of the longitudinal axes of 5½″, the over length of the center sheet plus the longitudinal axes of 13″, and the overall length of the longitudinal axes plus the center sheet of 13½″.
- 8. The wrapping material of claim 6 wherein the longitudinal and latitudinal wings are of equal or different widths.
- 9. The wrapping material of claim 6 wherein the longitudinal and latitudinal wings are of equal or different lengths.
- 10. The wrapping material of claim 6 wherein said wrapping material is fabricated from a flexible material.
- 11. The wrapping material of claim 10 wherein said flexible material is selected from the group consisting of metallized film, cloth, plastic, foil and paper.
- 12. The wrapping material of claim 1 wherein the object is selected from a group consisting of a CD, DVD, VHS tape, cassette tape, shirt box, tie box, game box or vinyl album.
- 13. A cruciform shaped wrapping material comprising longitudinal and latitudinal axes extending from a center portion for wrapping an object of predetermined dimensions.
- 14. The cruciform shaped wrapping material of claim 13 further comprising two longitudinal and two latitudinal axes.
- 15. The wrapping material of claim 13 wherein the longitudinal and latitudinal axes are of equal or different respective widths.
- 16. The wrapping material of claim 13 wherein the longitudinal and latitudinal axes are of equal or different lengths.
- 17. The wrapping material of claim 13 wherein said wrapping material is fabricated from a flexible material.
- 18. The wrapping material of claim 17 wherein said flexible material is selected from the group consisting of metallized film, cloth, plastic, foil and paper.
- 19. A method of wrapping an object, said method comprising:
providing a cruciform shaped piece of wrapping material with a center portion; folding a first and second portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material toward the center portion; and folding a third and fourth portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material toward the center portion.
- 20. The method according to claim 19 further comprising adhering the portions of the wrapping material to an object and to one another when placed on top of each corresponding portion.
- 21. An improvement in a wrapping material for wrapping an object, the improvement comprising:
a piece of wrapping material with a center portion; first and second portions of the wrapping material extending away from the center portion comprising axis X; third and fourth portions of the wrapping material extending away from the center portion and perpendicular to the first and second portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material comprising axis Y; and wherein X and Y are predetermined to cover the object.
- 22. The improvement of claim 21 wherein said improvement further comprises equal or different widths and lengths for the first and second portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material and the third and fourth portion of the cruciform shaped wrapping material respectively.
