This proposal seeks to provides five weeks of enrichment activities in a commuter Young Scholars Program for 45 high ability and high potential high school students in the eleventh and twelfth grades. The primary focus is on hands- on research for five weeks during the summer with follow-up activities during the academic year in interdisciplinary science. Scientists from various scientific disciplines at California State University at Fullerton will serve as mentors.
