Claims
- 1. A 1-H-3-aryl-pyrrolidine-2,4-dione compound of the formula (Ib) in whichA represents hydrogen, or represents C1-C10-alkyl, C3-C6-alkenyl, C1-C8-alkoxy-C2-C8-alkyl, C1-C6-polyalkoxy-C2-C6-alkyl, C1-C8-alkylthio-C2-C6-alkyl or cycloalkyl having 3 to 7 ring atoms, which may be substituted in each case by halogen, or represents phenyl, or phenyl-C1-C4-alkyl, which may be substituted in each case by halogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-halogenoalkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy or nitro, B represents hydrogen, straight-chain or branched C1-C10-alkyl or C1-C6-alkoxyalkyl, or A, B and the carbon atom to which they are bonded represent a saturated or unsaturated C3-C9-spirocycle which is optionally monosubstituted or polysubstituted by C1-C6-alkoxy, C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C1C3-halogenoalkyl, C1-C6-alkoxy, C1-C6-thioalkyl, fluorine, chlorine or phenyl, or A, B and the carbon atom which they are bonded represent a C3-C6-spirocycle which is substituted by an alkylenediyl group or substituted by an alkylenedioxy or by an alkylenedithiol group, and the alkylenediyl, alkylenedioxy or alkylenedithiol group together with the carbon atom to which it is bonded forms a further five- to seven-membered spirocycle, or A, B and the carbon atom to which they are bonded represent a C3-C6-spirocycle in which to adjacent substituents together represent a saturated or unsaturated five- or six-membered cycle which is substituted by C1-C3-alkyl, C1-C3-alkoxy, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, X represents halogen or C1-C4-alkoxy, Y represents hydrogen, halogen or C1-C4-alkoxy, Z represents hydrogen, halogen or C1-C4-alkoxy, with the proviso that X and Y or X and Z do not simultaneously represent halogen, R1 represents C1-C16-alkyl, C2-C16-alkenyl, C1-C6-alkoxy-C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C6-alkylthio-C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C6-polyalkoxy-C2-C6-alkyl or cycloalkyl having 3 to 7 ring atoms which may be substituted in each case by halogen, phenyl which may be sustituted by halogen, nitro, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C3-halogenoalkyl, C1-C3-halogenoalkoxy, C1-C4-alkylthio or C1-C4-alkylsulfonyl, phenyl-C1-C4-alkyl which may be substituted by halogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C3-halogen alkyl or C1-C3-halogenoalkoxy, or phenoxy-C1-C5-alkyl which may be substituted by fluorine, chlorine, bromine or C1-C4-alkyl, R2 represents C1-C16-alkyl, C3-C16-alkenyl, C1-C6-alkenyl, C1-C6alkoxy-C2-C6-alkyl or C1-C6-polyalkoxy-C2-C6-alkyl, which may be substituted in each case by halogen, C3-C7-cycloalkyl which may be substituted by halogen, C1-C3-alkyl or C1-C3-alkoxy, or phenyl or benzyl, which may be substituted in each case by halogen, nitro, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C3-alkoxy or C1-C3-halogenoalkyl, R3, R4 and R5 independently of one another represent C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C6-alkoxy, C1-C6-alkylamino, di-(C1-C6)-alkylamino, C1-C6-alkylthio, C3-C4-alkenylthio or C3-C6-cycloalkylthio, which may be substituted in each case be substituted in each case by fluorine, phenylthio, which may be substituted in each case by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, nitro, cyan, C1-C3-alkoxy, C1-C3-halogenoalkoxy, C1-C3-alkylthio, C1-C3-halogenoalkythio, C1-C3-alkyl or C1-C3-halogenoalkyl, R6 and R7 independently of one another represent hydrogen, or C1-C6-alkyl, C3-C6-cycloalkyl, C1-C6-alkoxy, C3-C6-alkenyl or C1-C6-alkoxy-C2-C6-alkyl, which may be in each case substituted by halogen, or phenyl which may be substituted by halogen, C1-C5-halogenoalkyl, C1-C5-alkyl or C1-C5-alkoxy, or benzyl which may be substituted by halogen, C1-C5-alkyl, C1-C5-halogenoalkyl, or C1-C5-alkoxy, or together with the N atom to which they are bonded a C3-C6-alkylene ring.
- 2. A 1-H-3-aryl-pyrrolidine-2,4-dione compound of the formula (Ib) as claimed in claim 1, in whichA represents hydrogen, or represents C1-C8-alkyl, C3-C4-alkenyl, C1-C6-alkoxy-C2-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-polyalkoxy-C2-C4-alkyl, C1-C6-alkylthio-C2-C4-alkyl or cycloalkyl having 3 to 6 ring atoms which may be substituted in each case by halogen, or represents phenyl, or phenyl-C1-C3-alkyl, which may be substituted in each case by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl, ethyl, propyl, iso-propyl, methoxy, ethoxy, trifluoromethyl or nitro, B represents hydrogen, C1-C8-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxyalkyl, or A, B and the carbon atom to which they are bonded represent a saturated or unsaturated C3-C8-spirocycle which may be monosubstituted or polysubstituted by methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, butyl, iso-butyl, sec-butyl, teret-butyl, cyclohexyl, trifluoromethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, propoxy, iso- propxy, butoxy, iso-butoxy, sec-butoxy, teret-butoxy, methylthio, ethylthio, fluorine, chlorine or phenyl or A, B and the carbon atom to which they are bonded represent a C3-C6-spirocycle which is substituted by an alklenediyl group or by an alkylenedioxy group, and the alkylenediyl or alkylenedioxy group together with the carbon atom to which it is bonded forms a further five-to seven-membered spirocycle, or A, B and the carbon atom to which they are bonded represent a C3-C6-spirocycle in which two substituents together represent a saturated or unsaturated five- or six-membered cycle X represents fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methoxy, ethoxy, propoxy or isopropoxy, Y represents hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methoxy, ethoxy, propoxy or iso-propoxy, Z represents hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methoxy, ethoxy, propoxy or iso-propoxy, with the proviso that X and Y or X and Z do not simultaneously represent halogen, R1 represents C1-C14-alkyl, C2-C14-alkenyl, C1-C4-alkoxy-C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C4-alkylthio-C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C4-polyalkoxy-C2-C4-alkyl or cycloalkyl having 3 to 6 ring atoms which may be substituted in each case by fluorine or chlorine, phenyl which may be substituted by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl, ethyl, propyl, i-propyl, methoxy, ethoxy, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, methylthio, ethylthio, methylsulfonyl, ethylsulfonyl or nitro, phenyl-C1-C3-alkyl which may be substituted by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl, ethyl, propyl, i-propyl, methoxy, ethoxy, trifluoromethyl or trifluoromethoxy, or phenoxy-C1-C4-alkyl which is optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine, methyl or ethyl, R2 represents C1-C14-alkyl, C3-C14-alkenyl, C1-C4-alkoxy-C2-C6-alkyl or C1-C4-polyalkoxy-C2-C6-alkyl, which may be substituted in each case by fluorine or chlorine, C3-C6-cycloalkyl may be optionally substituted by fluorine, chlorine, methyl, ethyl, propyl, iso-propyl or methoxy, or phenyl or benzyl, which may be substituted in each case by fluorine, chlorine, nitro, methyl, ethyl, propyl, i-propyl, methoxy, ethoxy or trifluoromethyl, R3, R4 and R5 independently of one another represent C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4- alkoxy, C1-C4-alkylamino, di-(C1-C4)-alkylamino or C1-C4-alkylthio, which may be substituted in each case by fluorine or chlorine, or phenyl, phenoxy or phenylthio, which may be substituted in each case by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, nitro, cyano, C1-C2-alkoxy, C1-C2- fluoroalkoxy, C1-C2-alkylthio, C1-C2-fluoroalkylthio and/or C1-C3-alkyl, and R6 and R7 independently of one another represent hydrogen, or C1-C4-alkyl, C3-C6-cycloalkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C3-C4-alkenyl or C1-C4-alkoxy-C2-C4-alkyl, which may be in each case substituted by fluorine, chlorine or bromine, or phenyl which may be substituted by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, C1-C4-halogenoalkyl, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy, or benzyl which may be substituted in each case by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-halogenoalkyl, or C1-C4-alkoxy, or together with the N atom to which they are bonded a C3-C6-alkylene ring.
- 3. A method for combating arthropods which comprises administering to said arthropods or to their habitat an arthropodically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1.
- 4. An arthropodicidal composition which comprises an arthropodically effective amount of a compound according to claim 1 and an inert carrier.
