Claims
- 1. An adhesive tape for fixing lead frame pins, comprising:
- a pre-shrunk heat resistant base film which, when subjected to heat from 20.degree. to 300.degree. C. has an average coefficient of linear thermal expansion along the width thereof (as measured according to ASTM D-696-44) of from 0.4.times.10.sup.-5 to 2.5.times.10.sup.-5 cm/cm/.degree.C. and which has a coefficient of dimensional change along the width thereof after hearing at 300.degree. C. for 3 minutes (as measured according to JIS C2318-6.3.5) being not higher than 0.15%, and a heat resistant adhesive layer made of thermosetting resin laminated on at least one surface of the base resin, said adhesive layer containing a filler in an amount of from 0.5 to 80% by weight based on the weight of said adhesive layer.
- 2. An adhesive tape for fixing lead frame pins comprising:
- a pre-shrunk heat resistant base film which, when subjected to heat from 20.degree. to 300.degree. C. has an average coefficient of linear thermal expansion along the width thereof (as measured according to ASTM D-696-44) of from 0.4.times.10.sup.-5 to 2.5.times.10.sup.-5 cm/cm/.degree.C. and which has a coefficient of dimensional change along the width thereof after heating at 300.degree. C. for 3 minutes (as measured according to JIS C2318-6.3.5) of not higher than 0.15%, and
- an adhesive layer laminated on at least one surface of the base film, said adhesive layer being an acrylic based adhesive.
- 3. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 2, wherein said base film is composed of polyimide.
- 4. An adhesive tape for fixing lead frame pins, comprising:
- a pre-shrunk heat resistant base film which, when subjected to heat from 20.degree. to 300.degree. C. having an average coefficient of linear thermal expansion along the width thereof (as measured according to ASTM D-696-44) of from 0.4.times.10.sup.-5 to 2.5.times.10.sup.-5 cm/cm/.degree.C. and which has a coefficient of dimensional change along the width thereof after heating at 300.degree. C. for 3 minutes (as measured according to JIS C2318-6.3.5) of not higher than 0.15%, and
- an adhesive layer laminated on at least one surface of the base film, said adhesive layer being composed of a polyimide film.
- 5. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 4, wherein said base film is composed of a material selected from the group consisting of glass cloth and polyimide.
- 6. An adhesive tape for fixing lead frame pins, comprising:
- a pre-shrunk heat resistant base film which, when subjected to heat from 20.degree. to 300.degree. C. has an average coefficient of linear expansion along the width thereof (as measured according to ASTM D-696-44) of from 0.4.times.10.sup.-5 to 2.5.times.10.sup.-5 cm/cm/.degree.C. and which has a coefficient of dimensional change along the width thereof after heating at 300.degree. C. for 3 minutes (as measured according to JIS C2318-6.3.5) of not higher than 0.15%, and
- a heat resistant and thermosetting adhesive layer laminated on at least one surface of the base film,
- wherein said heat resistant base film is comprised of a material selected from the group consisting of polyimides, polyetherimides, polyphenylene sulfides, polyether-ether-ketones, polyparabic acid, epoxy resin with glass fiber cloth, and epoxy resin plus polyimide with glass fiber cloth.
- 7. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 6, wherein a thickness of said heat resistant base film is within a range of 5 to 300 .mu.m.
- 8. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 7, wherein a thickness of said heat resistant base film is within a range of 10 to 150 .mu.m.
- 9. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 8, wherein a thickness of said heat resistant base film is within a range of 11 to 130 .mu.m.
- 10. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 9, wherein a thickness of said heat resistant base film is within a range of 20 to 80 .mu.m.
- 11. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 7, wherein said heat resistant base film is comprised of a material selected from the group consisting of glass cloth, polyimide and glass cloth with polyimide.
- 12. An adhesive tape for fixing lead frame pins, comprising:
- a pre-shrunk heat resistant base film which, when subjected to heat from 20.degree. to 300.degree. C. has an average coefficient of linear thermal expansion along the width thereof (as measured according to ASTM D-696-44) of from 0.4.times.10.sup.-5 to 2.5.times.10.sup.-5 cm/cm/.degree.C. and which has a coefficient of dimensional change along the width thereof after heating at 300.degree. C. for 3 minutes (as measured according to JIS C2318-6.3.5) of not higher than 0.15%, and
- an adhesive layer laminated on at least one surface of the base film, said adhesive layer containing a heat resistant resin as a main component and a filler selected from the group consisting of inorganic materials comprising oxides of silicone, aluminum, titanium, beryllium, zirconium, and magnesium: nitrides of silicone, titanium, boron and tungsten; borides of titanium and tungsten; and carbides of silicone, titanium, zirconium and molybdenum; these substances treated on their surfaces with a trimethylsiloxyl group; and of organic materials consisting of polyimide, resol phenol resins, epoxy resins, acrylic resins, styrene resins, silicone resins, nylons, polyamideimides, polyether-ether-ketones, polyetherimides, and polyesterimides.
- 13. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 12, wherein said heat resistant base film is comprised of polyimide.
- 14. An adhesive tape as claimed in claim 12, wherein said filler comprises 0.5 to 80 weight % of said adhesive layer.
