The present invention relates to an aglet assembly for shoelaces and the aglet assembly is securely connected to a distal end of the shoelace.
A conventional shoelace generally includes two distal ends and each distal end is connected with an aglet assembly which forms a solid and tubular assembly and is easily to be extended through eyelets in the flaps of shoes. Some conventional aglet assemblies are made by a tubular member which is glued to the distal end of the shoelace and is easily separated from the shoelace. Some aglet assemblies include a male part and a female part which is connected with the male part to form a tubular aglet assembly. However, the male part on the shoelace is difficult to be firmly connected to the shoelace so that the aglet assembly might be collapsed during frequent impact.
The present invention intends to provide an aglet assembly for shoelaces wherein the tubular member has one end firmly connected to a distal end of the shoelace and the other end of the tubular member is threadedly connected to an end cap. The aglet assembly includes a reliable and strong connection relationship between the parts thereof.
The present invention relates to an aglet assembly for a shoelace which includes a distal end with a restriction tube mounted thereto, and the aglet assembly comprises a tubular member which has a passage so as to receive the restriction tube therein. A first end of the tubular member is pressed to form a narrow section which tightly mounts the tubular member onto the restriction tube.
The primary object of the present invention is to provide an aglet assembly for a shoelace wherein the aglet assembly is firmly connected to the shoelace and is not separated.

An annular shoulder 24 is defined in a conjunction portion between a root portion of the threaded section 23 and an outer periphery of the tubular member 20. The narrow section ensures the connection between the distal end of the shoelace 10 and the tubular member 20, and the number outer surfaces can be made as desired. Besides, the end cap 30 can be engraved or printed patterns, trademarks or even characteristics when needed.
