Claims
- 1. A solid animal feed block consisting of 20-60% by weight molasses; 0.5% to 2% by weight calcium sulfate; 0-20% by weight water; 1-5% by weight attapulgite clay; 0-20% by weight fat; 0 to 25% by weight urea; 4-6% by weight magnesium oxide; 0 to 40% by weight cottonseed meal; 1 to 10% by weight calcium carbonate; 1 to 15% by weight salt; 5 to 30% by weight ammonium polyphosphate; and 0.5 to 10% by weight mineral and vitamin feed supplements.
- 2. A solid animal feed block produced from a mixture consisting of 20-60% by weight molasses; 0.5% to 2% by weight calcium sulfate; 0-20% by weight water; 1-5% by weight attapulgite clay; 0-20% by weight fat; 0 to 25% by weight urea; 4-6% by weight magnesium oxide; 0 to 40% by weight cottonseed meal; 1 to 10% by weight calcium carbonate; 1 to 15% by weight salt; 5 to 30% by weight ammonium polyphosphate; and 0.5 to 10% by weight mineral and vitamin feed supplements.
- 3. A solid animal feed block consisting of an alkaline pH of at least 9; 20 to 60% by weight molasses; 0 to 20% by weight water; 1 to 5% by weight attapulgite clay; 4 to 6% by weight magnesium oxide; and 2.5 to 30% by weight of corn steep liquor; 0 to 25% by weight urea; 0 to 50% by weight corn gluten feed; 0 to 40% by weight corn gluten meal; 0 to 20% by weight fat; 0 to 10% by weight calcium carbonate; 0 to 2% by weight calcium sulfate; 0-14% by weight cottonseed meal, 1 to 15% by weight salt; and 0.5 to 10% by weight macro minerals, trace minerals and vitamins.
- 4. The solid feed block of claim 3 wherein there is 3.3 to 3.8% by weight fat; 4.1 to 5.3% by weight urea; and 1-10% calcium carbonate.
- 5. A solid animal feed block having an alkaline pH of at least 9 and which is produced from a mixture consisting of 20 to 60% by weight molasses; 0 to 20% by weight water; 1 to 5% by weight attapulgite clay; 4 to 6% by weight magnesium oxide; and as a source of phosphate 2.5 to 30% by weight of corn steep liquor; 0 to 25% by weight urea; 0 to 50% by weight corn gluten feed; 0 to 40% by weight corn gluten meal; 0 to 20% by weight fat; 0 to 10% by weight calcium carbonate; 0 to 2% by weight calcium sulfate; 0-14% by weight cottonseed meal, 1 to 15% by weight salt; and 0.5 to 10% by weight macro minerals, trace minerals and vitamins.
- 6. The animal feed block of claim 5 wherein said mixture further consist of fiber sources selected from the group consisting of hulls of wheat, cottonseed, rice, oats, peanuts, corn, and mixtures thereof.
