Claims
- 1. An antigen comprising:
- a carrier chemically conjugated with a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence Asp-Asp-Pro Arg-Phe-Gln-Asp-Ser-Ser-Ser-Ser-Lys-Ala-Pro-Pro-Pro-Ser-Leu-Pro-Ser-Pro-Ser-Arg-Leu-Pro-Gly-Pro-Ser-Asp-Thr-Pro-Ile-Leu-Pro-Gln; and
- wherein the conjugate, upon administration to a human, effectively elicits anti-body response to human Chorionic Gonadotropin but not to human Luteinizing Hormone.
- 2. An antigen comprising:
- a carrier chemically conjugated with a polypeptide consisting of an amino acid sequence selected from the group of:

No. 4,526,716 and of international patent application PCT/U.S. No. 83/00777, filed May 18, 1983. The aforementioned international application, which names Vernon C. Stevens as the U.S. applicant is, insofar as regards the United States of America, a continuation-in-part of the aforementioned U.S. application Ser. No. 06/472,190.
