Claims
- 1. Apparatus for housing photosensors and lights comprising a rectangular box structure opened at its bottom and at least at one end and longitudinally divided into transverse central and outer sections, a plurality of photosensors individually removably secured in the top of said box and extending into the central section thereof, a pair of slidable trays each supporting a plurality of lights arranged longitudinally there along, means on the interior of said outer sections and said trays cooperating to slidably support and permit insertion of said trays through the open end of said respective outer sections and means for enclosing said open end and securing said trays against movement within said respective outer sections.
- 2. The apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said cooperating means for supporting said trays in fixed position includes parallel rail means formed on each side of said outer sections supporting said trays.
- 3. The apparatus according to claim 2 wherein said tray comprises an inverted U-shape channel the legs of which are supported on said rails and said lights are secured by their sockets within the bight of said channel and spaced uniformly therealong.
- 4. The apparatus according to claim 3, wherein the legs of said U-shaped channel are of different length.
- 5. The apparatus according to claim 1 wherein each tray and the housing structure are provided with cooperating plug and socket means engageable upon insertion of the tray with the respective section and disengageable upon removal of the tray therefrom.
- 6. The apparatus according to claim 1 including a translucent plate arranged along the bottom of the housing structure beneath each tray of lights.
- 7. The apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said photo-sensors comprise a photo-detector, at least one lens, and a filter, said detector lens, and filter being arranged in axial alignment and secured within a cylindrical tube, said tube being mounted along a vertical axis within said center section.
- 8. The apparatus according to claim 7 including means for sealing the upper and lower ends of said tube, at least the lower end being transparent to light transmission and including space means arranged with said tube between said sealing means and said detector, lens and filter, to hold the same under axial compression.
