Claims
- 1. A method of producing a device, comprising:
providing a non-stoichiometric non-equilibrium material, and processing the non-stoichiometric non-equilibrium material into a desired device.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein providing a non-stoichiometric non-equilibrium material comprises providing a submicron material.
- 3. The method of claim 1 wherein providing the non-stoichiometric non-equilibrium material comprises providing a nanostructured material.
- 4. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises an optical device.
- 5. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises an electrical device.
- 6. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a thermal device.
- 7. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a magnetic device.
- 8. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a catalytic device.
- 9. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a biomedical device.
- 10. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises an electrochemical device.
- 11. The method of claim 1 further comprising processing the device to convert the non-stoichiometric non-equilibrium material into a stoichiometric material.
- 12. The method of claim 11 wherein the stoichiometric material comprises a submicron material.

- 14. The method of claim 11 wherein the device comprises an optical device.
