Claims
- 1. An automated microscope system (30) comprising:
a box in which at least one control and power supply unit (34) is installed, said box is arranged physically separately from the microscope stand (32) and is connected to the microscope stand (32) with at least one connecting cable (38).
- 2. The automated microscope system (30) as defined in claim 1 comprising:
an operating and computer unit (36) is connected to the box having at least one control and power supply unit (34).
- 3. The automated microscope system (30) as defined in claim 1 comprising:
a control unit which always possesses the same physical dimensions regardless of the application.
- 4. The automated microscope system (30) as defined in claim 1 comprising:
the microscope stand (32) possesses the same shape and configuration, regardless of the application.
- 5. The automated microscope system (30) as defined in one of claims 1 through 3 comprising:
the illumination unit for the microscope (31) is also housed in the box; and that the cable (38) additionally comprises a light guide that couples the light generated by the illumination device into the microscope stand (32).
