Claims
- 1. A bending press system provided with a bending press with at least one bending station to mount a plurality of divided tools and;a tool housing device to house the divided tools used in the bending press, the divided tools including longer and shorter divided tools relative to one another; a tool exchange device that moves the divided tools between the tool housing device and the at least one bending station and mounts the divided tools on the at least one bending station, comprising: a first memory means that stores the housing positions of each divided tool housed in the tool housing device; a second memory means that stores a bending line length, a flange length and a bending angle of a bent product; a first computing means to determine the tool type to be mounted on the at least one bending station and a length of the at least one bending station based on the bending line length, flange length, and bending angle; a second computing means to determine the arrangement of each divided tool on the at least one bending station based on the tool type and length of the at least one bending station; an NC control means that controls the tool exchange device so that each determined divided tool is moved from the housing position of the tool housing device to the arranged position; and wherein in determining the arrangement of the divided tools, the second computing means gives priority to the longer divided tools.
- 2. A system according to claim 1, wherein in computing the arrangement of the divided tools on the at least one bending station, computation is made so that the longer divided tools are arranged on ends of the at least one bending station and the shorter divided tools are arranged therebetween.
- 3. A system according to claim 1, wherein in the arrangement of the divided tools, reference is made to a tool database that shows the divided tools housed in the tool housing device.
- 4. A system according to claim 3, wherein the second computing means, after determining the divided tool arrangement, will check the data on tools housed in the tool housing device and will revise the tool arrangement if the determined divided tools are lacking.
- 5. The system according to claim 1, wherein in the first memory means, the mount position of the divided tools mounted on the at least one bending station, and the housing position of the divided tools housed in a tool magazine outside the bending press may also be stored.
- 6. The system according to claim 1, wherein the first computing means determines the tool type on the basis of at least either a number or a coordinate of the at least one bending station.
- 7. The system according to ciaim 1, further comprising a means to determine the order of bending the bent product, based on the bending line length, flange length and bending angle and wherein the first computing means will determine, by taking the bending order into consideration, the length of the at least one bending station and tool type of the divided tools to be arranged on the at least one bending station.
- 8. A bending press system provided with a bending press with at least one bending station to mount a plurality of divided tools and;a tool housing device to house the divided tools used in the bending press, the divided tools including longer and shorter divided tools relative to one another; a tool exchange device that moves the divided tools between the tool housing device and the at least one bending station and mounts the divided tools on the at least one bending station, comprising: a first memory means that stores the housing positions of each divided tool housed in the tool housing device; a second memory means that stores a bending line length, a flange and a bending angle of a bent product; a first computing means to determine the tool type to be mounted on the at least one bending station and a length of the at least one beading station based on the bending line length, flange length, and bending angle; a second computing means to determine the arrangement of each divided tool on the at least one bending station based on the tool type and length of the at least one bending station; an NC control means that controls the tool exchange device so that each determined divided tool is moved from the housing position of the tool housing device to the arranged position; wherein in the arrangement of the divided tools, reference is made to a tool database that shows the divided tools housed in the tool housing device; wherein the second computing means, after determining the divided tool arrangement, will check the data on tools housed in the tool housing device and will revise the tool arrangement if the divided tools are lacking; and wherein in case the longer divided tools are lacking, the second computing means will supplement the lack by the shorter divided tools.
- 9. A bending press system provided with a bending press with at least one bending station to mount a plurality of divided tools and;a tool housing device to house the divided tools used in the bending press, the divided tools including longer and shorter divided tools relative to one another; a tool exchange device that moves the divided tools between the tool housing device and the at least one bending station and mounts the divided tools on the at least one bending station, comprising: a first memory means that stores the housing positions of each divided tool housed in the housing device; a second memory means that stores a bending line length, a flange length and a bending angle of a bent product; a first computing means to determine the tool type to be mounted on the at least one bending station and a length of the at least one bending station based on the bending line length, flange length, and bending angle; a second computing means to determine the arrangement of each divided tool on the at least one bending station based on the tool type and length on the at least one bending station; an NC control means that controls the tool exchange device so that each determined divided tool is moved from the housing position of the housing device to the arranged position; wherein the tool housing device includes a first housing section located on an extension of the bending axis of the at least one bending station and a second housing section located proximate the first housing section and not located on an extension of the bending axis of the at least one bending station and provided with tool support parts for supporting a plurality of sets of the divided tools, each set containing therein tools having the same cross-sectional shape; wherein a control device controls one of the sets of the divided tools so that said one set is moved from the second housing section to the first housing section, and then a desired divided tool is selectively moved from the first housing section to the at least one bending station; and wherein the first housing section includes an upper tool first housing section for housing upper tools and a lower tool first housing section for housing lower tools, and the second housing section includes an upper tool second housing section and a lower tool second housing section.
- 10. A system according to claim 9, wherein the tool exchange device has a first tool exchange means to move each divided tool freely between the first housing section and the at least one bending station, and a second tool exchange means to move one of said sets of divided tools of the same cross-sectional shape freely between the first housing section and the second housing section;wherein the first tool exchange means includes an upper tool first tool exchange device to move each divided upper tool between the upper first housing section and an upper tool bending station and a lower tool first tool exchange device to move each divided lower tool between the lower first housing section and a lower tool bending station; the second tool exchange means includes an upper tool second exchange device to move one of said sets of divided upper tools of the same cross-sectional shape between the upper tool first housing section and the upper tool second housing section; and a lower tool second exchange device to move one of said sets of divided lower tools of the same cross-sectional shape between the lower tool first housing section and the lower tool second housing section.
- 11. A method for mounting divided tools onto a bending station in a bending press system having a bending press provided with at least one bending station to mount a plurality of divided tools, tool housing devices that house the divided tools used in the bending press, and the divided tools including longer and shorter tools relative to one another, a tool exchange device that moves the divided tools between the tool housing device and the at least one bending station and mounts the divided tools on the at least one bending station, comprising:storing a housed position of each divided tool housed in the housing device; determining, on the basis of the length of a bending line and a length of a flange and a bending angle of a bending part of a bent product, the tool type of the divided tool to be arranged on the at least one bending station and the length of the at least one bending station; determining the arrangement of each divided tool on the basis of the tool type to be arranged on the at least one bending station and the length of the at least one bending station; and moving each determined divided tool from the housed position in the housing device to a determined arrangement position; and wherein priority is given to the longer divided tools in determining the arrangement of divided tools on the at least one bending station.
- 12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the divided tools on the at least one bending station are arranged so that the longer divided tools are arranged on the ends of the at least one bending station and the shorter divided metals are arranged in between the longer divided tools.
- 13. The method according to claim 11, wherein when determining the arrangement of said divided tools, reference is made to a tool database which shows the divided tools housed in the tool housing device.
- 14. The method according to claim 13, wherein after determining the arrangement of the divided tools, the database of tools housed in the tool housing device is checked and if there is a shortage of divided tools, the tool arrangement will be rearranged.
- 15. The method according to claim 11, including a memorizing step, wherein the mounting position of the divided tools mounted on the at least one bending station and the housing position of the divided tools housed in a tool magazine provided outside the bending press will also be stored.
- 16. The method according to claim 11, wherein at least either the number or the coordinate of the at least one bending station may be determined on the basis of the bending line length, the flange length and the bending angle.
- 17. The method according to claim 11, wherein the order of bending of the bent product is determined on the basis of the bending line length, the flange length and the bending angle, and the length of the at least one bending station and the tool of the divided tools to be arranged on the at least one bending station may be determined.
- 18. A method for mounting divided tools onto a bending station in a bending press system having a bending press provided with at least one bending station to mount a plurality of divided tools, tool housing devices that house the divided tools used in the bending press, and the divided tools including longer and shorter tools relative to one another, a tool exchange device that moves the divided tools between the tool housing device and the at least one bending station and mounts the divided tools on the at least one bending station, comprising:storing a housed position of each divided tool housed in the housing device; determining, on the basis of the length of a bending line and a length of a flange and a bending angle of a bending part of a bent product, the tool type of the divided tool to be arranged on the at least one bending station and the length of the at least one bending station; determining the arrangement of each divided tool on the basis of the tool type to be arranged on the at least one bending station and the length of the at least one bending station; and moving each determined divided tool from the housed position in the housing device to a determined arrangement position; wherein when determining the arrangement of said divided tools, reference is made to a tool database which shows the divided tools housed in the tool housing device; wherein after determining the arrangement of the divided tools, the database of tools housed in the tool housing device is checked and if there is a shortage of divided tools, the tool arrangement will be rearranged; and wherein if there is a shortage in the number of longer tools, the shortage will be supplemented by shorter divided tools.
- 19. A method for mounting divided tools onto a bending station in a bending press system having a bending press provided with at least one bending station to mount a plurality of divided tools and;a tool housing device that houses the divided tools used in the bending press and; a tool exchange device that moves the divided tools between the tool housing device and the at least one bending station and mounts the divided tools on the at least one bending station, comprising: storing a housed position of each divided tool housed in the housing device; determining on the basis of a length of a bending line, a length of a flange, and a bending angle of a bending part of a bent product, the tool type of the divided tool to be arranged on the at least one bending station and the length of the at least one bending station; determining the arrangement of each divided tool on the basis of the tool type to be arranged on the at least one bending station and the length of the at least one bending station; and moving each divided tool from the housed position in the housing device to the determined arrangement position; wherein the tool housing device includes a first housing section located on an extension of the bending axis of the at least one bending station and a second housing section located proximate the first housing section and not located on an extension of the bending axis of the at least one bending station and provided with tool support parts for supporting a plurality of sets of the divided tools, each set containing therein tools having the same cross-sectional shape; wherein the first housing section includes an upper tool first housing section for housing upper tools and a lower tool first housing section for housing lower tools, and the second housing section includes an upper tool second housing section and a lower tool second housing section; and the method further comprising moving one of the sets of the divided tools from the second housing section to the first housing section; and moving selectively desired divided tools from the first housing section to the at least one bending station.
- 20. The method of claim 19, wherein the tool exchange device has a first tool exchange means to move each divided tool between the first housing section and the at least one bending station, and a second tool exchange means to move one of said sets of divided tools of the same cross-sectional shape between the first housing section and the second housing section;wherein the first tool exchange means includes upper tool first tool exchange device to move each divided upper tool between the upper first housing section and an upper tool bending station and lower tool first tool exchange device to move each divided lower tool between the lower first housing section and a lower tool bending station, and the second tool exchange means includes upper tool second exchange device to move one of said sets of divided upper tools of the same cross-sectional shape between the upper tool first housing section and the upper tool second housing section and a lower tool second exchange device to move one of said sets of divided lower tools of the same cross-sectional shape between the lower tool first housing section and the lower tool second housing section.
