Claims
- 1. Tyr. D-Met(O). Gly. Phe(4NO.sub.2). ProNH.sub.2.
- 2. A pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt of Tyr. D-Met(O). Gly. Phe(4NO.sub.2). ProNH.sub.2.
- 3. The acetate salt of claim 2.
- 4. A pharmaceutical composition for use as an antidiarrhoeal medicinal use comprising an effective antidiarrhoeal amount of H.Tyr.D-Met(O).Gly.Phe(4NO.sub.2).Pro.NH.sub.2 or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier therefore.
- 5. The composition of claim 4 in a form suitable for oral, rectal or parenteral administration.
- 6. The composition of claim 4 in the form of a tablet.
- 7. The composition of claim 4 in the form of a capsule.
- 8. The hydrochloride salt of claim 2.
