Abstract
The present invention provides a board game. The board game includes a spinning device and an inner and outer ring of characters. The characters include at least one of a plurality of numbers or a plurality of letters located in one or more rings. Each player activates the spinning device. After the spinning device has stopped a master scorecard and the scorecard associated with the player who performed the activation of the spinning device are marked to identify what letter or number the spinning device is pointing to. The players rotate spinning of the spinning device until the master scorecard indicates that the game is over.

Claims
  • 1. A board game comprising: a pointing device;a board for rotatably receiving the pointing device, the board comprising: a first ring around the board having at least one of a plurality of numbers or a plurality of letters; anda second ring having a smaller radius than the first ring having at least one of a plurality of numbers or a plurality of letters;a scorekeeper's scorecard; anda plurality of player scorecards;wherein the pointing device includes an indicator end that points to one of the plurality of numbers or plurality of letters in the first and second rings,wherein the scorekeeper's scorecard and the plurality of player scorecards include a listing of the plurality of numbers or plurality of letters and at least one check box positioned adjacent to the each number or letter in the listing.
  • 2. The game device of claim 1, wherein the scorekeeper's scorecard is located on the board.
  • 3. The game device of claim 1, wherein the plurality of player scorecards includes a section for entering of players initials.
  • 4. The game device of claim 1, wherein the scorekeeper's scorecard and the plurality of player scorecards include a predefined word section that includes the letters of a predefined word and at least one check box positioned adjacent to the each letter of the predefined word.
  • 5. The game device of claim 4, wherein the predefined word is RICH.
  • 6. A method for playing a board game, the method comprising: a) activating a spinning device on a board, the board having an inner and outer ring of characters, wherein the characters include at least one of a plurality of numbers or a plurality of letters;b) recording on a master scorecard and on a player's scorecard the character on one of the inner or outer ring that the spinning device stopped and pointed to, wherein the recordation occurs only on a scorecard associated with the player who performed the activation of the spinning device and on the master scorecard;c) repeating a) and b) until the master scorecard indicates that the game is over.
  • 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the game is over when one of the characters has been pointed to a predefined number of times.
  • 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the predefined number of times is three times.
  • 9. The method of claim 6, wherein the game is over when the letters of a predefined word have been pointed to at least once.
  • 10. The method of claim 9, wherein the predefined word is RICH.
  • 11. The method of claim 6, wherein the game is over when a player's initials have been pointed to at least once from activation of the spinning device by the player.
  • 12. The method of claim 6, wherein the game is over when at least one of one of the characters has been pointed to a predefined number of times, the letters of a predefined word have been pointed to at least once, or a player's initials have been pointed to at least once from activation of the spinning device by the player.
